Titan AE
It has been a long time since I watched this film, it is still stunning to me. Sure the story is cliche - it is heavily based on Pirates of Dark Water (David Kirschner produced both), but the Don Bluth style is always a draw to me. IF you can get it on a streaming, go for it.
- The 2d animation is stunning, 3d is rigid but acceptable
- Voice acting is top notch
- Art direction is brilliant
- Story is fun and obviously inspired Firefly

It's quite a good movie, nothing absolutely groundbreaking but if you're a fan of "used future" style space sci-fi and just a fan of animation in general then it's worth a watch. It was really unappreciated in its time and still pretty underrated now.

I was very disappointed in the Independence Day 2 trailer. It's gone from an action flick with a sense of humor to something that takes itself WAY too seriously, if the trailer is any indication of tone.

They're trying to build a franchise, but they can't afford to pay Will Smith to come back for the sequel. At least Jeff Goldblum is on board.

I hope he uses a Thunderbolt interface to infect the next spaceship

Daddy's Home
My brother was wanting to see it so we went tonight since it's $5 Tuesday at the mall's cinema. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Usually I don't care for Will Farrel and I wasn't blown away by his team up with Marky Mark in The Other Guys however they actually did a great job this time around. Movie actually had me laughing pretty frequently and the majority of the jokes were actually really solid. Honestly this is probably one of my favorite Will Farrel comedies so far.
