What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Did you see this year's Turkey Day marathon stream? It had some really good stuff. Outlaw, Eegah, Gorgo, Teenagers From Outer Space, Danger!! Death Ray, and Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. I never saw Outlaw, and I think Season 5 was just as good as 6.

Ofcourse, thats why we watched Gorgo. But the stream crapped out on me when Teenagers started so I moved to youtube for King Dinosaur.

I cant think of a bad season of the show. Then again I am bias since I have a Servo and faux Cambot and Gypsy, and am almost done with Crow.

Gypsy's car seat is not legal to sell (car seat laws are weird), so I go the closest I could and made her portable. Real cambot (season 8 on) is made from two Copco Salad spinners and is about the size of a basketball. Faux Cambot is made from a Burger King Pokeball and piping, he is the size of a baseball and can hang from fishingline.

Danger! Death Ray is seriously underappreciated, one of my favorites. Eegah is also in the running for best Joel episode.

Not sure if you know this but this was a rather famous MST3K episode. Tor Johnson at his finest. What did you think?

This is Seth Rogan being Woz, and damn it he is good at it. Recently I have been watching Freaks and Geeks (Rogans first real work), so when the option to see Steve Jobs popped up I was anxious to see how he could handle the role. He was an amazing actor for the short bits he was in. Sadly, he will probably go back to burnout comedies.

Now you make me want to go watch PoTSV again....that movie was simply amazing even if it's supposed to be educationally oriented...

Happy Feet Two - caught the last hour so really 30 mins of this on tv and have to say I was impressed now i need to watch the rest I liked the first so this is now a must see...

The original Miracle on 34th Street. Charming. Wish I had the remake from the '90s to do a side-by-side comparison.

Also rewatched John Waters' "This Filthy World". Still glad I own the DVD. wish I had all of his films on DVD (I have Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Desperate Living, and Cecil B. Demented, along with bootlegs of Mondo Trasho and Multiple Maniacs), except Pecker (not my fave John Waters film).

Yup, that was actually how I watched The Unearthly. Georgia's version of PBS managed to get the rights to air a few of the Joel episodes of MST3K last year, and I recorded it when it aired. Finally managed to get around to it last week. It was pretty damn good. Not Space Mutiny good, but I definitely laughed out loud quite a few times.

Tor's ok here, but I really prefer in The Beast of Yucca Flats. Now that movie...that's a classic.

The first one was better.

I've already seen all the Toxic Avenger films, so I know that part 3 is more of the same from part 2 (literally, since they only made part 3 because they had too much footage from part 2 iirc). And that a good Toxie experience won't come until Citizen Toxie.
