Bet those will clean up real nice, might even make the TMNT label look better.J_Wil wrote:$10 and change at the thrift store. Too bad the Ninja Turtles label is trashed.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Friend just gave me a stack of 360 games. Got some cleaning and testing to do, then see what I want to keep. Some will probably end up on my trade pile and I'll give him kick back on any that I sell.

Awesome find, J_Wil. If you decide to put that Turtles in Time copy up for trade, l would definitely be interested.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I found one of those bootleg NES-on-a-chip console sets at Goodwill for $3.99 so I bought it just to make fun of the bad games but when I got home and opened it, it smelled so bad of paint and plastic that I got nauseated and a headache so I immediately threw it away (there is no return policy at Goodwill I don't think). I did save the game it came with though. Are these worth anything at all?

They are all in great shape and look good now that I've removed the grime except TMNT. The label is all torn up on top and worn in the front. Can't really complain for $2 though.
Oh, superyoda41 - I may be looking to trade this if you don't mind the condition. If I do, I'll shoot you a PM.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
The Majesco SNES carts have really poor quality labels, making them much more likely to end up in such condition.

The cart is worth a few bucks. It's a bootleg, but it's handy as a multicart and sometimes there are interesting things on them. Heck, I'd probably buy it off you for $4.nullxor wrote:Are these worth anything at all?

I see that's a later dull label cart. That's why the label suffered more damage than you normally see. Still, the stuff inside is the important bit.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I'm really happy, I was able to get out and pick up the Assassins Creed Collectors Edition Box(CIB) before the snow the came in to bury us (MD). The set comes with the game and bonus disk as well with the art book, and Enzio statue (NIB). I was able to get it for $20 (after an hour drive), although I'm not an Assassins Creed fan, I noticed the set goes for premium on auction sites and forums, so I got it for, when I stumble upon something I really want I can use it as trade.

"Shmup" is far more elegant!
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I actually only recently learned that Majesco produced SNES carts (with the "Assembled in Mexico on the label). I still have my original copy from the 90's and I always wondered why the manual I owned was in black and white when I had only see color manuals elsewhere...now I know. Funny enough, looking into it I noticed that there don't seem to be many of the Turtles in Time carts for sale that still have nice labels.Ziggy587 wrote:The Majesco SNES carts have really poor quality labels, making them much more likely to end up in such condition.
