Like I said already, we won't be playing on the hardest difficulty (which is Judgement). I suggested playing Gauntlet Mode on either Normal, Hard, or Legendary. Any of these should be easily available to all.

Ah, ok.

So you aren't in favor of a Caravan-style approach to the game?

I think Gauntlet would be better. I'd be kinda bored playing the same stage for an entire week! :)

Understandable, but for many of us mastering ONE stage is a week long process

Also, check your PMs!

Is Jamestown a caravan? Or, is this more like picking one stage of Dodonpachi and just score-attacking it? Serious question, never played or really even looked at Jamestown before.

Please don't bow out. There's still time to find 2 more. I have a couple guys i'm sure would play, i've just been hoping peopel will find it on their own. Even if you can't commit to a weekly score, just being a 3rd is beneficial...and if we don't find a 3rd, then you could be a 4th on a team with mostly new-to-shmups members.

I posted a poll for Jamestown...I think I covered the options we are looking at.

No. You can credit feed through a stage without starting over. This also works for Gauntlet mode. There is no situation where you'll be sent back to the start.

Well, like I said, I haven't played in awhile, so i've been saying, "iirc" and "I think"...however, the last point I still believe is accurate - I'm 99% sure you start over at the beginning of the stage if you lose your credit. Can someone else confirm? I specifically remember not being able to respawn mid-stage.

Just tried this out; you respawn exactly where you left off.

One thing to note, though, the continue screen appears quite quickly, so you might inadvertently hit fire as soon as the continue countdown appears and accidently start another credit. Something to watch out for...
