Not sure how common this game is but I saw Bloodlines the other week at a local game store with no box or manual for $40! Hopefully they are just dumb and that doesn't reflect what the current Genesis market is.

Bookmarked that site! Very surprised that it is the going rate. I like Bloodlines but if someone was waving two 20s in my face I would have no problem selling my copy.

I managed to grab Hyperstone Heist for $30 on ebay, I'm pretty happy about that.

It's another one of those games that really shot up, and it's not surprising because it's a recognizable franchise name. A lot of people who are just getting into collecting the Genesis are looking for the stuff they already know.

I also feel like Bloodlines is only recently getting the praise it deserves due to people actually giving it a fair shake.

I think it should be noted that there's a Majesco reprint of the game, so it's not exactly hard to find and the price is mostly thanks to its name and the demand that comes with it.

Personally I think for the best stuff on the Genesis you've got to dig deeper than the surface layer that most people are familiar with.

Your right gunstar, The game is awesome and some may say its better that castlevania 4. It kind of sucks that these games are getting up there in price because of its name. I don't mind spending 30 or so for a great game like castlevania or even turtles for that matter but your right that there are so much titles for the genesis exclusive for the genesis like I looked up dynamite heady and wow what a game from treasure and its still under 15.00 to get. Also cant forget sor 2 or shinobi 3 both are still fairly cheap thanks the the genesis collections on ps3/xbox etc.
I just beat contra hard corps but I had to cheat with game shark. game is to damn hard.lol

Im really surprised how no one here really cares for the genesis as much as they do for the snes. The snes is 110 pages in while the genesis is only 20 pages in. I like the genesis as much if not more than the snes. The games are great and im not talking about the common ype of games. I mean dynamite headdy contra castlevania mutant league series there is so much to explore or this system
