XBOX = great games PS4= cheaper (and imo better) hardware
You win some, you lose some.
I don't get how people continue to disregard the Killzone series. It was one of the best series of the last gen and is a system seller for me. Having it at launch makes me giddy.
Besides, any cross-platform games (AC4, sports games, Battlefield or COD, etc.) should be stronger on the PS4 over the XboxOne. Other than Killer Instinct and Crimzon Dragon, I am not excited about much in the One's launch lineup. I'll still be getting both systems on day one, though.
I think Killzone looks amazing as well, even though I've not played the previous titles. Maybe that's why? The people discounting it haven't played any of them? I just started Killzone HD last night and it was surprising how well it held up. Looking forward to finishing out the series to get ready/excited to play Shadow Fall.
Also, I think that the launch lineups this time out are the some of the strongest ever, even without Watch Dogs. It's just a matter of preference. Obviously Dave is more into Killzone and is excited about the PS4 being stronger on multiplat titles. But Dead Rising 3 and Ryse look really strong and personally I'm more interested in multiplayer multiplat titles on ONE because I think the online stuff will be better there and the graphics bit will be negligible at best this early in the gen.
Still very strong on both sides.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

You may feel that way, but neither of those are getting an additional next gen game at launch, so not really a good point.
I'd say that Killzone 2 & 3 were better than all the Halo games from last gen with the exception of Reach (I played all of them). All Halo games are better than Killzone 1, easily.

Gears of War is a different conversation.
Well, we can agree to disagree. I still consider Halo to be the definitive sci-fi FPS series of the seventh generation. I beat Killzone 2 a few years ago and it felt very much like an attempt to cash into the FPS craze - it didn't seem to bring any kind of innovation or creativity to the formula at all. The enemies were lackluster, the weapons weren't interesting, and the story was highly forgettable. There were no characters to speak of. I honestly wouldn't recommend the series to anyone.
Meh, now I have a PS4 and no launch games preordered...I guess I go for killzone but am not thrilled about it. I may just not get my preorder. Or buy it and sell it and wait for more games. The launch lineups dont really interest me.

I only have the base console preordered. I'll see what actually launches regarding games/etc, but for now I'm just figuring I'll mess with Drive Club and whatever else they put on PS+ for free >.>
Mmm yea. Whether I want to keep my PS4 pre-order is going to be on my mind until launch. I guess I COULD try some of these series that seemingly don't interest me. I've never played Assassin's Creed before.
Definitely want to get the PS4 camera sometime, especially if it'll be compatible w/ my computer as a mic. I use the PS3 Eye mic w/ my computer when I play WoW. And for Child of Eden.
