You just get sent back to the priest like an egress but you lose half your gold I believe.

I've been giving all defence and HP + items to him just so this doesn't happen, hes kind of a beast now

Bowie has some of the highest stats in the game. He generally only gets outdone by Peter, who's just a massive gamebreaker.

I'm going to continue playing 2-3 hours a night. Hopefully with that schedule I can finish by the 11th.

Also, I am drinking beer throughout this entire playthrough.

I just defeated Zalbard, so I'm quite far in the game.

Just jumped back in after a solid week without touching SF2 and I am now in North Parmecia. Like others, I am determined to finish this on time! I have gotten so distracted by Fire Emblem (gba) for the summer game challenge that I forgot about what was going on. I had to read a walk through to remind myself a little.

It is really interesting seeing the similarIties and differences of SF2 and Fire Emblem. I think the story in both serves the games well so far, but I think I like the quirkiness of SF2 a little more. You can tell it is a Sega franchise for sure! I think FE is a little more polished on the GBA but I am loving both of these games despite their similarities.

I am going to put some more hours in today and I will report back later.

I am struggling a little with my team. I think I need to spend some cash on weapon upgrades. Those damn Master Monk bastards were really annoying getting into here. How the F does a Master Monk have the ability to heal anyone completely with one spell?!?! Sarah isnt even close to that kind of healing ability for my team!

Anyway....moving on.

Played for a tiny bit today. Got past the earthquake part, then fought a battle to save some random dude who needed help.

I lol'ed when the new town just appeared in the woods. "Well we just built a town! From the wood from the boat!" Well, okay them.........

I doubt I'll finish on time - don't lock this thread on the 11th. I should be able to catch up with PSII though, I've beat the game before so it should be a breeze the second time through.
