This has got to be one of the hidden gems on the Wii - I've never seen a copy in the wild, which makes sense, as the print run for NA was quite low. Ebay prices are already around $40, and with the lack of horror games on the Wii, I think this one will go up even higher in price. A re-release is rumored for the Wii-U though, so time will tell on this one.

Dont know if its just gamestop and their weird pricings.

But during the hoildays they do raise the prices on some of their games.

I just bought Rayman Origins on the PS3 used for $17.99

But the used Wii version they have is now $24.99 :|

Obviously the PS3 game is superior in HD than the Wii version.

But it makes me wonder why they did that. Before the holidays, Rayman Origins was around $19.99 for all three consoles, new or used (if you knew where to look).

Was it because of the Wii U? Did people see the demo and want to play a rayman game immediately? And there was the year old wii game for them to take. So they raised it accordingly?

It makes me wonder, how gamestop can make other online retailers change their prices. It may not be the deciding factor, but for most people its all they've got.

It's probably based on a variety factors such as demand, rarity, stock, etc.

One Piece Unlimited Cruise Double Pack was apparently exclusive to Germany. I bet we won't see that often.

I could see it holding onto its value. I actually purchased this off Amazon in 2011 for less than $12 NEW. It sells for more now on Amazon. I'd say grab it while you still can. I've noticed this trend for A LOT of games I picked up cheap on Wii in the past 1-2 years.

I wonder if the Klonoa remake might become semi-rare/valuable. It seems to be off most people's radar now but the Klonoa games always have solid gameplay, so this one might be eventually be added to the list of sought-after games. What do you think?

Klonoa had a pretty good shelf life and appears to be widely available at used game stores. I don't think it will raise in value that much. Even the PS1 release has come down in value since its now on two platforms. The few posts above this one seem to have some genuine games that might be hard to find and therefore raise in value with time.

I think its all based on sales, makes sense the Wii Rayman would go up due to people trying to get a holdover version for their WiiUs. I like the Wii Rayman Origins version, it plays beautiful with the Wii Tatsunko Arcade stick. :D

The pricing jump also happened to the uDraw tablets which did not sell for weeks at the clearance price of $9.99. About a week before Christmas they sold like crazy, maybe because of impulse buy Christmas gifts? Now the clearance uDraws tablets are back to $29.99. The same thing took place for the uDraw games, went up in price.

I think as the WiiU starts to take a foothold, the Wii game prices will drop at Gamestop. I dread the day when Gamestop starts gutting out the Wii cases to make room.

It's widely available now at Gamestop but that will definitely change. You won't be able to get Klonoa on the Wii for $9.99 ($8.99 PUR) complete a few years from now. It doesn't even go for that much complete on Amazon. I don't think this will reach insane prices like some of the other titles that have been mentioned but might as well get it cheap now.

Dokapon Kingdom seems to have crashed in price on Ebay recently - copies can now be easily had for $30.
