Actually, I tend not to much either. I guess I'm weird that when I'm playing a game I generally don't want to be pausing every 2 minutes to send messages to people. I usually set myself to away in IMs until I'm taking a break or done.

Ironically, you can do most of that in any game on steam, or launched through steam now. PC gaming is kind of an elephant in the room. It has some drawbacks, but it has the biggest library and can play damn near anything - legality aside, and PCs can be used for other things. One of the reason I love PC gaming is that if something breaks in my 360, odds are it is toast. If something breaks in my PC, I can get a replacement. That and lan parties. Either small house lan parties or meccas like Dreamhack with its over 13k attendance:
