I mostly kick people a lot. That's good right?
Kicking is kinda sissified, I prefer to butt-punch.
Hugo fan?

I was until last night. Hugo got owned. Until I can parry better, he's way to slow to advance on some of the skilled "fast" guys.

the problem with Hugo, from where I stood (victoriously) is that he's just a massive hitbox. I felt like I was just up against a movie punching bag. Sure if Hugo grabs you he can do a big chunk of damage, but it's not easy for him to grab you.

You saw that too, eh?

Even when evilryutigers999999 was putting in some work, those moves he pulled off were often reliant on you being in the air at the time, which yeah, for sure he had skill, but there was luck involved in that as well - and you still won most of those.

I most enjoyed watching someone who knew how to use Sean, that was cool.

The matches I won against him (ert99) I still felt like he was almost "experimenting" with me, so even in a loss, he won. Is that poetic?

CD AGES wrote: Unless you lived in japan and played 3rd Strike there, that statement is False! Every Urien player early on used Tyrant Slaughter and Jupiter Thunder SA! The tournaments i enetered at the time in "US soil" mostly used Jupiter Thunder due to Massive Stun infliction and Great juggle eneder potential to Uriens BnB's. Players in the US did not know how to utilize Aegis "Until" the Japan Vs. USA exhibition at EVO 2K2 when Tokido owned JWong's Chun with little effort. That's when more and more Urien players started cropping up worldwide and he blew up!
You are talking about U.S, but I actually keep up more with Japan.. They have been using Aegis since the beggining.. I tend to reference Japan, or say China for KoF more because it's just the fact that the players are just better in those regions.. I view the U.S like amatuers and rightfully so, because in almost every SBO, the Japanese whipe the floor with most U.S players..
Dude, I never said he doesn't have good hit confirms. I said he doesn't have the perks of dealing hard damage after hit confirming like Chun Yun and Makoto!
I agree, but I think Yang's quickness makes up for his lack of damage.. I don't think there is any debate.. The two aforementioned characters dominate Yang!!

Well guess what, Makoto started out as a mid tier characters and has proceeded to inch her way ever closer to the top of the tier list due to her massive damage potential!
I'd say she started out where Urien was.. Mid High.. But I agree about her damage boosting her.. I also think her juggles with SA II bumped her up as well as the dizzyness she inflicts.. If you the two fukiage juggle, she basically dizzies almost the entire cast and in turn makes her OP as shit..

That further states how Yang is not top tier. If he was there would be more Yang players worldwide and that is not the case especially when compared to how much Urien gets picked! At the end of the day, Urien has more options to work with to win a match, at least way more than Yang!

Well i'm about done with this 3S tier list BS. It really doesn't mean squat to me when player skill is involved lol!
I kinda agree, I think it's just because Yang requires ridiculous skill and quickness to pull off some of his bigger combos and it's just not practical.. He is midhigh IMO and it is debateable to whether he is better than Urien.. Overalll good debate dude.. I feel like watching some old JP 3s tourneys after I'm done with the semester!!

Yeah I wonder why... :p

My favorite player out there are vets like Kokujin, Chikyu, KSK, Kuroda.

Out here I've grown to learn a lot from playing and watching greats like Valle, JR Rod, Geo and few others
