I don't remember anyone saying that they "trust" Sony. My own defense of them was against allegations that they are somehow more evil than the competition and against the claim that they have made the PS3 worse over time. No one has questioned whether or not they have widespread incompetence - that is clear in everything they've done in the past five years or so from losing their market position early this gen to the Leap Year bug to the PSPGo to this new (and worst) fiasco.

Hopefully this is the wake up call they need to fire some people and hire better, more competent employees at all levels. They should start with the security and PR departments.

In addition, we have taken steps to disseminate information regarding this issue to media outlets so that consumers are informed. Kind of makes it sound like not all accounts were effected. I haven't gotten an e-mail yet, but I saw another poster on here has.

I can't imagine how pissed anyone who bought a PSPGo in the last week is.

Hmmm... no UMD drive, huh? Well at least I can download some games on the PlayStation Ne--- HEY!?!?!?

Apparently Sony's stock is dropping now.

They're dropped the ball a lot of times this gen, but this seems to be the real big one. Guarantee you that this (among other things) is keeping me far away from purchasing any Sony hardware in the future, and I doubt I'm alone.
