I still believe International Superstar Soccer is the standard against which the real world should be judged. But that's me.

As for Pelé x Maradona, well, there's not even much of a debate, I think, not outside the head of Argentinian lunatics.

To me, the best moment of Pelé was not a goal he scored (and he had freaking great ones, e.g.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1tKmCgF0sE), but the passing he made to Carlos Alberto in the 1970 final: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HrjevD2vhk

The space below is reserved for bickering/complaining about bad refereeing if US loses, or hurrays and hurrahs if US wins

May the better team win! :D

cheap goal. You have a good offense but your defense is really really lacking. I don't think your defenders have even heard of the term covering other players.

That was one painfully obvious goal.

Gutted. I had a bet on Germany beating England 3-1. That made me very popular at the betting office... Final score: Germany 4 England 1. What did they have to score that extra fucking goal for?

If I was English I'd be absolutely raging. Capello doesn't have a clue. He plays everyone in the wrong positions and when they're 3-1 down and need to score quickly he brings on Heskey! :?
To top it all off, after the game he tries to claim that they played well (lolno), while speaking very broken English and needing to rely on an interpreter. What a farce. How's he supposed to deliver rousing team talks and good instructions if he can't even speak English?
