Sometimes I think about collecting MVS and/or CPS games.Flake wrote:Smile: Mjmjr25 helping me out with some consolized arcade system knowledge. Has me thinking about picking up the hobby.
Frown: Started the hobby with an ebay search for arcade PCBs. Saw prices. Looking for new hobby.
But yeah, I see the prices and realize that for one of those games I could buy like 10 Genesis games instead.

This is why you grab games never released on consoles, or butchered in console ports.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Sometimes I think about collecting MVS and/or CPS games.Flake wrote:Smile: Mjmjr25 helping me out with some consolized arcade system knowledge. Has me thinking about picking up the hobby.

Games like, Outfoxies, Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder, Battle Circuit, Ninja Baseball Batmen, Viper Phase 1, and so on. Heck we had a topic it on it not to long ago: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... =6&t=32595
If you limit yourself to a handful of really quality games, you will not be disappointed in your purchase. I am not a fan of superguns, but when I had a Dynamo Jamma cab functioning, we would rotate out PCBs every few weeks and even though we only had four or five, everyone loved it. Sadly my Astro still needs a monitor repair and I cannot find anyone within 400 miles to fix it.

That is such a fun shmup. I remember playing it at a local Wal-Mart back when that company was just a mid-western retailer.fastbilly1 wrote:Viper Phase 1

Holy shit the NBA is full of idiots.
Here's how I think it will play out:
Sterling gets banned, sued, is forced to sell team.
Sterling sells team for around 300 million usd, laughs his way to the bank.
Sterling sues NBA, pockets another 10 million, recoups all losses, laughs his way to the bank.
Sterling sues estranged wife, pockets more cash, laughs his way out of the bank.
NBA changes its rules concerning its rights to privacy, Sterling laughs for the sake of laughing.
Mavericks outspoken owner Cuban said "Taking what someone says in their own home and using it against them...that's a slippery slope".
Not defending the dude, but man oh man. Imagine what our President says behind closed doors.

I'll do you one better...went to the kangaroo express and decided what the heck I'll stop in the good will to see if they have anything decent. Almost picked up the simpsons hit and run game....it was only the case with the artwork no game no manualprfsnl_gmr wrote:During a game hunt this morning, I found copies of Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles (PSP), LittleBigPlanet (PSP), and Midway Arcade Treasures (PSP), but there was something wrong with each one. I wouldn't count on that one. Otherwise, I think you are spot on.Luke wrote:Sterling sues estranged wife, pockets more cash, laughs his way out of the bank.
Anything you say can and will be used against you. You think it would be obvious, but the police have to remind people of this fact every time they make an arrest.Luke wrote:Mavericks outspoken owner Cuban said "Taking what someone says in their own home and using it against them...that's a slippery slope".

That was such a great show, and it is a fantastic way to learn about the criminal justice system (without, you know, getting arrested or going to court).catnip wrote:The TV show, "Cops". Countless hours spent. Every one worth it.
