Its weird how quiet the house gets when she's gone. Even if we're not doing something together, she's always running around the house making a ruckus for one reason or another.

Really dude? When the wife+kid go out with the relatives and I have the place to myself, it's party time!!!
By party time I mean I can play games and not have to care about what's going on around me.

Well, truth is I generally don't care what's going on around me no matter who's present. I just appreciate the background noise.

I get ya on having the missus around but definitely when you have kids, it's nice to have time to play games that you need a bit more time on (RPGS, longer action games, etc).
