Thanks for all the responses, and for those intrigued but haven't followed:

What was the last movie that made you cry, and why?

...or go nuts and list every movie that made you cry.

UP! gets me every time. It's the only movie I can remember that I was in a theater full of crying dudes, at every age. Guys had to leave the theater they were crying so hard.

If you are over thirty, I bet the farm that you cried when the words "ARTAX! You're sinking!" were shouted. And it gets worse when Atreyu warns Artax to not let the sadness of the swamp get to him. "PLEASE!".

Up! is probably the most depressing Pixar movie I've ever seen  . Man the first 30 minutes or so are so depressing and the kid only makes things worse later with his back story.

Um, Neverending Story is way to goofy to cry over. And yes I thought that when I was 6 too. Don't get me wrong I like that movie, but yeah, no crying. I have no soul apparently.

I did mention it on here, and yes it was traumatising even though I knew of the atrocities beforehand.

Haven't seen either since they were on video, but it's kind of a toss up between The Rugrats Movie (the scene where Tommy's gets upset at Dil and almost dumps banana baby food on him, thus basically giving his brother to the circus monkeys) and Pokemon: The First Movie (when Ash gets in the middle of Mew and Mewtwo's attack and all the Pokemon start crying).

Pretty tough to watch with a wife who can't have children. I'll always find it amazing that the most emotionally invested I've ever been in a character on screen is an animated one. And the most heart breaking moments occur without dialogue.

"Um" Why do people type this word out? I've seen just about every member here at one point type "Um". Do you guys forget what you are about to type and just start off with "Um" until your brain kicks in?

REPO wins. Not sure what, but he wins.
