It's every bit as bad as you have heard. It shouldn't have been in a theater, it shouldn't have been a straight to video release, there shouldn't even be a shelf for a straight to video release of this move.
I know. The new TMNT movie wasn't everyone's bag of tea, but compared to TMNT 3 it is fantastic.
You say that, but they've done far worse...

TMNT3 is stupid. But kind of fun. It's actually my wife's favorite of all the Turtles movies. I'm not sure why.

Did you see the trailer for The Final Girl? I'm on my phone or I'd look it up for you. Had a Cabin in the Woods feel, thought of you.

The theater by my parents' house was showing the Rocketeer, so my brother and I went to see it. We'd seen it back when we were kids and it was fun, but it's interesting watching it as an adult. There are so very many references to things about the 30's that I picked up, including the fairly important character of Howard Hughes.

Last night, my wife and I watched
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011). It was incredibly well-acted and beautifully directed, and it might have been a great film if it were two hours longer. As it is, there is just too much going on for the screenwriters to fit into a two-hour movie.
