Infamous Second Son, which I'm actually enjoying a bit more than I expected too. I thought very little of the original Infamous, and skipped the second one, but this one with the new types of powers is a bit more fun than that first game was. I'm also a person who greatly appreciates little details, and I appreciate that very early on they show you in a cutscene that in addition to his offensive powers Delsin can also heal bullet wounds in seconds. This removes one of my biggest gripes with most modern games, which is the extreme amount of suspension of disbelief you need to have to believe that your character can soak up bullets all through the game with nary a scratch on him.

I recently got a new 50 inch TV and it's nice to have a PS 4 game to play on it that actually looks like a PS 4 game and not a slightly spruced up last gen title. Really impressed by characters' faces and their expressions in this game.

On the negative side, I find Delsin a bit annoying at times and until you unlock some powers and upgrades combat can feel kind of like standard shooter fare. Delsin is actually surprisingly weak early on. In your first big encounter of the game it's surprising how quickly his health drops and how fast his power depletes, but he gets stronger as the game goes on.

This game isn't particularly special in anyway, but I'm enjoying it. It's a decent first gen PS 4 title and plays well enough.

Surprisingly tons of casual stuff and casually tons of stuff, let me explain.

Recent purchase of a kinect for Steel Battalion which lead to me playing Kinect Sports instead against my wife, which sparked her competitive edge to play Guilty Gear for old time sakes which lead to her playing more games as of now. Both cooping in House of the Dead with Sharpshooters at the moment.

In my spare moments booting up recent purchases in attempted mindless stupors trying to unlock a Metal Wolf Chaos Demo as of last night. I'll keep us posted...

Aside from my enjoyable frollic through Mario Kart 8, I have been playing a LOT of Mount and Blade: Warband. First off, I love the Sid Meier's Pirates! style of game. Playing Pirates on my Apple IIGS when I was a little kid was such an amazing experience that differed from anything else out there at the time.

With Warband, it has the same Pirates style, but encapsulates old school medieval warfare. You can be a bandit, work as a hired mercenary through the various kingdoms or even create your own kingdom to lay claim. For me, I am working with the Kingdom of Swadia, your very traditional King-Arthur-esque characters. It took me a long time to rise the ranks, but I have gained a lot of favor with the king and a lot of the various lords in the kingdom. The problem is, I have caused a lot of jealousy from other lords in the kingdom by my very quick rise to fame.

I plan to eventually take over the entire continent for the kingdom and maaaayyybbbeee overthrow the king...we will see! What is great is that relationships are incredibly important in the game. You have to juggle how you deal with people. Characters have very distinct personalities and you have to try to cater to that to get them to do what you want. I am having so much fun. I love it!

Leaning towards banjo as I'm a little burnt out on RPGs at the moment

Just started Maken X on the Dreamcast. I played about an hour so far and it's pretty fun. It's unusual/different gaming fix I was looking for. Although, I have to say it is really wierd playing a first person game without two analog sticks.

Well it seems i've been sucked into watch_dogs....I have a hard time thinking of playing anything else at the moment. I probably wouldn't have as much fun(even though I'm not as critical as others seem to be) if I'd played AC before this  But seriously doesn't seem half bad I'm just stuck on some of the further missions in act 1 as of right now...

If you want to play it third person instead, give this version a shot:

It is an enhanced remake of the Dreamcast game Maken X, with the most significant difference being that Maken Shao is played via a third-person perspective, as opposed to the first-person environment found in Maken X.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
