Haha, I totally misread your post and went to delete mine. Damn you replied to me! It's an FPS so IMHO the controls will be better on the PC with KB + Mouse. It will look better for certain. But do whatever makes you happy. If not having to install and update and sitting on the couch fits the bill, then by all means.JoeAwesome wrote:Are the controls better, or is there something else?Hobie-wan wrote:Play it on PC instead.JoeAwesome wrote:I'm wanting to try No One Lives Forever. Yeah, I edited my post because I read CRT's post earlier today and forgot what was said by the time I replied

Either way, play NOLF! Great game.

I will always look back at the Gameboy Player as i was the only one that reserved one at my local GameStop back in the day, there i was, alone so excited for the Gameboy Player.Fragems wrote: On another note I finally picked up a GameCube Game boy Player. Yeah I have been catching up with the GameCube for the last few years. Only had a PS2 when I was younger and while the Gamecubes were relatively cheap the majority of the games were pretty high priced so I never got around to picking one up. Instead I opted to spend the ten or so bucks a week I got from allowance on cheap used PS2 games.Hazerd wrote: I will always look back at the Gameboy Player as i was the only one that reserved one at my local GameStop back in the day, there i was, alone so excited for the Gameboy Player.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Found this crusty cum colored SNES yesterday for $7.50. Works fine, just an ugly yellow.
I saw a silver GBA SP (AGS-101 with the brighter screen) earlier today for $18 but I passed on it because I'm really trying to get out of the bad habit of buying stuff I already have just because it's a good deal. So, later in the day I decided to try the other side of town where the sharks have been feasting lately and I only find scraps...got some good stuff.
At Goodwill:
Xbox for $9. It works, just missing the AV cable. Also, had a scratched up Splinter Cell and wouldn't read the disc. I'm sure someone tested it because this store always prices working Xboxes at $20+ and broken ones for under $10. The disc drive opened in the store so I took a chance. Also, got some Gamecube games for $4 each. Backyard Baseball had a copy of Super Smash Bros Melee inside! (Always check the cases, even for shit games) This is the 3rd disc only copy I found in the last month. Lastly, an Atari Flashback 2 for $5. This is the 1st time I've come across one for a reasonable price. I then headed to Savers and picked up and NES for $10 (console only) and an SNES for $25 along with some N64 controllers and a Gamecube controller for $4.50 each and some rubbish PSone games that I used to like. For some reason I decided to buy a piece of sh*t Super Joy crap Famiclone. It's the only thing I bought that doesn't work ($6). Oh well...
Still, I bought a bunch of systems that I already have. Like someone else mentioned, I am much more addicted to the thrill of the hunt than the joy of actually owning this stuff. I also hate selling on eBay and Craigslist is worse. I generally sell stuff at cost to friends and associates, like the earlier person mentioned, or for a couple of bucks more than I paid. There isn't enough money in reselling to justify doing it so I don't know why I feel so compelled to buy this stuff. I probably need an intervention. I would be embarrassed to show even you guys how many extra systems I have.

My Gamecube spent most of its later years as a dedicated Game Boy.Hazerd wrote:I will always look back at the Gameboy Player as i was the only one that reserved one at my local GameStop back in the day, there i was, alone so excited for the Gameboy Player.Fragems wrote: On another note I finally picked up a GameCube Game boy Player. Limiting yourself to one or two items per hunt helps a lot. Plus eBay is good for getting rid of your excess stuff if your willing to do $0.25-$1 auctions with no reserves. Hunting can be quite addictive I can easily pick up 40+ games a week if I don't watch myselfJ_Wil wrote: Still, I bought a bunch of systems that I already have. The upside to reselling is I have saved quite a few games both discs and carts since I have the proper tools to clean and resurface them if necessary. Also I have been able to grow a relationship with a lot of the local shops and I'm expanding my knowledge of games while finding interesting new ones that I've never run into before. Finally in testing all these games I have stumbled into some rather cool games that I usually wouldn't have bothered playing
