What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Well now I know for next time(though I'm not sure I'm going to sell much more unless something odd happens and I find something I want to sell). Those are some good guidelines, I'll have to make a note of them for if ever do get around to wanting to sell again. But the thing I don't get thinking back on it, why would usps deliver it if it was ripped open like that and not try to find a way to contact me and correct it? One would think they'd have enough customer service skills to do that much...

Stop placing the blame on someone else. You screwed the pooch, don't do it again.

Pretty sure he's a kid who is new to selling Flake. Cut him some slack.
He was negligent with another person's property and now he's going to make them wait longer for their refund while he contacts USPS about tracking for a packaged (errm, envelope) that he didn't purchase.

I'm offering feedback. Hopefully he learns before he does a bad deal on another Racketboy member in BST.

"Return every penny" would have sufficed.

As someone who has been on the receiving end of "hopes and wishes" method of mailing on numerous occasions, I disagree. I didn't say I hated the guy, just that I hate sellers that do that. Given that this is a thread about things that make us happy or upset, I'd say it's an opinion germane to the conversation.

You did say you hated people like him.

Semantics. No biggie.

Totally get your frustration with people who ship crap and try to pocket the shipping money, but the guy is a bit naive on how to resell. If he continues to blame others for his mistakes...I'll get at 'em.

Well I didn't technically pocket the costs for shipping, that is to be taken out of the full amount received once it finally clears in paypal(since you can pay for the label and tracking through ebay which is what I've been doing it still charges for the shipping that way...). I have a tracking number that showed me every step of the way what was happening with it. The only thing regarding shipping it that I didn't purchase was the bubble wrap/packaging from usps. Still going to get the shipping cost taken since I told ebay to take the cost out later when payment clears....

Forget about USPS. This is your error. Just refund the full amount immediately.

So even if I have a tracking number, they won't be able to tell me if something turned up in the facility along the way matching the description?

(I really think this may be the end of me selling stuff for awhile unless I really feel like I should ship anything else....next time though I'll get the bubble mailer for sure if I ever do sell again...)

Though in other things that ticked me off, I can't find "Simple and Clean(Hikari)" the english version by Utada Hikaru on anything where I can buy just that song....wanted to use it in my video for my class(which I won't be uploading to the internet for reasons of that song) without downloading it for free since I love that song like crazy for some odd reason...

USPS doesn't track your package. They track the bar code on the package. The barcode arrived. It's not their fault nor their responsibility.

Have you ever seen a USPS processing center? Imagine a building the size of a football stadium or a Sam's Club. Now, imagine you are a tiny gameboy cartridge placed randomly on the ground somewhere in that maze of machinery and boxes.

USPS literally has no way (or interest) to send someone to wander their facility to find that game. On some level you had to have realized that putting a pricey game into a flimsy piece of paper held together by a tiny film of weak adhesive was irresponsible. Contact the buyer, apologize, be honest, and then refund their money.
