Ah, that's probably it. I don't pay for my gas. I have another situation for that. It's a long story.AppleQueso wrote:A lot of high school jobs are crappy and give you really low hours/pay.oxymoron wrote:Lunch money? Plus if you have your own vehicle and are paying for gas, etc, that can be a huge drain on your limited funds.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
2 NES quickshots flightsticks
1.5 NES Satellites - missing one receiver
1 Orange Zapper
a Sony KV-24FS120 - 24inch flat screen CRT with component.
Total cost - we had to take 150 pounds of beans, wheat, corn, and rice in 5 gallon buckets.
A friend of ours and his wife is moving and they had a bunch of stuff they wanted to get rid of, since we were taking the food they gave us the TV. I got it home and plugged in my primary Saturn and it was glorious after only looking at my Saturn through LCD for so long. The big question now, is where to put it.

I have the same TV, only the KV27FS120 (27 inch model). They're definitely awesome TVs for retro gaming. You'll find room for it.fastbilly1 wrote:Sony KV-24FS120 - 24inch flat screen CRT with component.
edit: Oh, by the way, if you ever find out how to get into the secret service menu, let me know? I still have to calibrate mine, and fix the overscan, but haven't found out how to get into the secret menu yet.

Will do Ziggy. I wont be getting rid of it, I just have to figure out if it will be with the gaming pcs, behind the wetbar or on a rolling cart in the house - ala a public school.

Found that digging around in one of CRTGAMER's overly long, yet useful guides here. Don't know if it will help or not.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Hit thrift stores today and found a SNES Multitap (the one with the bee on it) for $4.
Yesterday at the flea market I found a complete Teen Titans for XBOX for $6.
I'm starting to build an oXBOX collection without really intending to. Between Teen Titans, Conkers and Stubbs the Zombie I have stumbled on some of the pricier XBOX games. I'd like to trade them away for some of my wants, but there doesn't seem to be too much local interest yet.

Goodwill:
Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko (PS1 BL): $1.50
Road Rash 3D (PS1 BL): $1.50
Nothing great, but they were cheap enough so I usually pick up MOST games like that.

Games all complete. Guitars both work well. 50 euros. (Cat not included).
I find that a quick game of Guitar Hero is the perfect way to relax while taking a break from studying for exams. I'm really going to enjoy these.
Mostly harmless
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"

I picked it up off my friend for $20. I had to buy a charger so I guess it's $25.

I see your 27 inch and raise you a KV36FS120 (36 inch!)... and a broken back trying to move the damn thing. But it only cost me $20 on craigslist, and short of finding a large PVM it's the best TV I'm getting.Ziggy587 wrote:I have the same TV, only the KV27FS120 (27 inch model). Sadly, mine didn't have a remote so service menu seems impossible. I might try programming my Harmony remote for it and see if that works, considering I just got the Harmony a little while ago.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
