Still playing Final Fantasy III (NDS), and still enjoying it. I am about 22 hours in, and I expect that it will take me another 15 or so to wrap up the game. It is interesting to see where a lot of the conventions in later Final Fantasy games originated, and it is one of the few Final Fantasy games that I have not completed.
I have a long-standing goal to complete each of the first ten Final Fantasy games, and this - obviously - is one of the ones I have not completed. After this, I will embark on Final Fantasy II (which I hear is not that good...) so that I can acheive my goal.

FFII isn't
that bad. Though I would read up on some of the tricks (and exploitable glitches) or the game may feel almost unbearable to play. What version are you thinking of playing through? I played FF Origins, the PlayStation port.

I was planning on doing that. I am all about the portable RPGs; so, I will be playing the GBA port (which I hear is basically identical to the FF Origins port). Even if it is terrible, I will still be happy to have completed a gaming goal that I have been strving for since I was a teenager.

I am definitely going to hate on this game. Not that I can remember them now, but I read the first three Dragonlance books when I was a kid. I was incredibly excited when I read about this game - and beheld the AWESOME cover art - and I saved up my allowance to buy it. When I sat down to play it, I was disappointed to say the very least.
Moreover, I am now trying to acquire a complete set of NES games, and this game - which is not that rare - continues to elude my efforts to re-acquire it. (As a general rule, I do not buy games on eBay.) So, yeah, I have a lot of hate for this game. If a copy would find its way back into my collection for a good price, however, I might forgive it just a little bit...

Playing Disgaea 3 on the Vita. Finished up Tales of Graces main story last night. I still need to play the future arc eventually. The story was pretty crummy. Not really many/any good twists. I liked Lamda's backstory and not much else.
Next up on home consoles is probably Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. Cosplaying Alex at AnimeNEXT so I need some refreshment. I played the Sega CD version a year ago, but that's a little different.
And after all that I've got Disgaea 4, Radiant Historia, Tales of the Abyss, and Xenoblade Chronicles. And before I even get to that The Last Story will likely be here too.. Eeesch.

That's cool. Are you going with anyone who's cosplaying the other characters (Luna, etc)?

playing Dark Souls all the time when I can. Also playing with the idea of replaying Suikoden 2, Vandal Hearts or Shining Force 2.
Birthday is coming up...may actually buy myself Shining Force 3 finally.

I think we only have a Luna and Mia.. Would be nice to have more, but it's not so easy when most other cosplayers we know don't care about Lunar, haha.
We also have a Ghaleon hand puppet.
