I've been watching a certain anime!

Started watching the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. If you haven't heard of it before, it's a reboot of the original series with tons of new animation, characters and story, and different ending. Great to see all the characters and the EVAS in such lush detail and the 3D CG is quite good.

Im definitely enjoying the new relationship between Shinji, Rei and Asuka. Asuka is such a biotch in the TV series. Here she seems like she might actually for someone other than herself. Watched most of Evangelion 2.0 You can not Advance. Looking forward to seeing more.

That's my plan. From the snippets I've picked up from TVTropes it seems clear that if I have to wait a year or more for a story point to be finished I'll go insane.

I feel like I should rewatch the series. A few of my friends are obsessed with Evangelion, and I didn't really... "get it", I guess.

One thing I remember: EVERYONE has daddy issues.

Depends some on taste, but, it's a fun show, and given some of the stuff you've mentioned watching you'll probably dig it.
