Chaos Seed

Has anyone here played this? I'm not even sure how to describe it... you have to create a system of elemental rooms that build up an energy flow to recharge a dying planet...? It's like the "simulation" parts of ActRaiser (but with a little more in your control) combined with a top-down action RPG. Never played anything like it.

I have played it. Pretty dense game. There's also a Saturn version.

Conception II

I was going to start the Envy dungeon right away, but I realized that I almost had the max number of Star Children, and a lot of them have a pretty low max level... Whoops.

So instead, I went ahead and cleared one of the side dungeons while trying to get the items you need to make Witches. I didn't do too badly (I got 5 after 7 battles), so I'll try that again with the other items for the other special classes. Hopefully I'll clear out a few Star Children at the same time ><

After investing 48 hours into Etrian Odyssey Untold I took a two and a half month sabbatical. Started my old save up again last night and found I was actually enjoying the game again. Guess I just needed a break. Gonna try and push through and finish it this time.

I haven't played it, but I know what it is, and it looks really cool. It's really impressive that Neverland developed and released both it and Energy Breaker in the same year (1996).

Ok, ok, seriously...what are you doing watching anime when you should be finishing Final Fantasy?

Sorry but ff1 does wear on you a lot, that and i'm a huge procrastinator(would help if I could somehow watch on my tv but without the roku remote that's impossible). I really want to complete it but it's annoying how long it takes to get to the boss and back(been really spoiled I guess because I don't think most other games I've played up until now had anything near as bad with mazes and random encounters)

You don't know dungeon pain until you've tried playing Dragon Quest 1 for the period before you get the Light spell. Use Torch item, now your pitch black dungeon has one square of visibility around you.

Finished Breath of Fire but I obliviously sold the Dragon Armor, so I wasn't allowed into the last dragon shrine thing, so I got the crappy ending. Oh well. Onto the sequel... which early on is somehow even MORE grind-heavy?! Unreal.
