I am pretty close...IfI acquire 95 more games, then I will have a full set of licensed and unlicensed NES games (including all major label variants). I have written off nine games, however, since they are so rare that I do not anticipate finding them at a good price and so expensive that I could never justify purchasing them. Accordingly, if I acquire 86 more games, I will consider my NES collection complete.

There's been a boxed Vader 2600 on my local craigslist for 100 bucks... I keep debating it, but I'd just want to flip it, I've got a couple 2600s already and I'm not big on boxed systems. And I don't know how MUCH more than 100 I could get for it.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

If you are just wanting it to resale I would probably say you should pass it at that price unless he is tossing in some good games + accessories that would bump up the overall value.

Curious which these are. My guesses would be NWC gold and grey, College champ, Caltron 6 in 1, Myraid 6 in 1, Cheetamen II, assorted Panesian and maybe Stadium events? Bubble Bath Babes is one that someone could at least get some fun out of at least compared to the others.

You hit on something I hate, way overpaying for games that are not playable. I have taken the hit on a few but still hesitate on them.

Commodore 64C with 1541-II disk drive, Fast Load cartridge, and modem.

Got tons of other stuff with it too - another (broken) C64, five printers, miscellaneous literature and magazines, and various word processing and business disks.

$25 total.

Yup. craigslist. I am a bit disappointed, I must admit. The seller had everything boxed up for years and essentially guessed what was in the boxes... And he was wrong. He said there was a Commodore 64 and a Commodore 128 - in reality there was one functional C64 and one demolished one. He said there was a datasette - there was no datasette. He said there were games - there were no games.

I can't be too upset though - 1541-II drives aren't easy to come by and I saved a ton of money vs. what I would pay on eBay.

I am surprised 2600 go for $100 , thats expensive... Thats more than 64 and gamecube

It's boxed, though. Boxed systems regularly go for far more than loose.

My 2600 was around $30ish IIRC, it was loose. It also came with a bunch of games and such and was in amazing shape.
