I watched the intro for Starcraft. That game has such awesome cutscenes, I only wish it had more of them.

Saw 6. Good, but not the best in the series. Also, apparently, they're gonna make a 7th film, which is set to be the last one.

Blob '88 doesn't count as a remake. It's more of a not-in-name sequel, like Prom Night '06, which is nothing but an obvious Prom Night 5, since it's just like every other Prom Night sequel, in that they're mostly sequels in name only (except PN3, which is a sequel to Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2).Hobie-wan wrote:Doncha mean remaking again?REPO Man wrote: Remaking "The Blob"? In fact, I've wanted to do a fanedit of Blob '88 and change it into a second Blob '58 remake, thus making it the third in a trilogy (Blob '58, Beware the Blob, and Blob '88).

TEEN WOLF
It holds up very well. Love movies that dare to be stupid. The DVD has TEEN WOLF TOO on the flip side. When I bought the DVD, it was next to another double DVD, THE NEVER ENDING STORY & THE NEVER ENDING STORY 2. I wish I could have bought a DVD that just had the originals on it.

I got my wife to watch The Wizard last night. The last time I had seen it was in the theater! Still as awesome as I remembered.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Okay. Basically, the "remake" of Prom Night that came out back in '06 was not a remake of Prom Night, since it doesn't have the same plot.Luke wrote:My head asplode.REPO Man wrote:[

Were they to retell the story of the original, then it'd be a remake. But since it has a different plot altogether, then it's basically Prom Night 5.
You see, all sequels to the Prom Night movie released in 1980 was, in fact, unrelated to the first movie.
Prom Night 3 was a direct sequel to Prom Night 2.
But... Prom Night 4 was a sequel to Prom Night 3 in name only (i.e. different plot, different characters, different setting, etc).
So... Prom Night '06 = Prom Night 5.
And with that same logic, the so-called "remake" of The Blob '58 is NOT a true remake since it could be essentially the third film in a trilogy, with the first two entries being The Blob '58 and Beware the Blob being the first and second films, respectively.
And right now, for some reason, the 2006 indie dramedy "10 Items or Less", not related to the TBS comedy show (which I've never seen). Did I already miss Jim Parsons? Cuz I came in 3 minutes after it started. Kinda funny, but I'm not that into it.
