What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yes, because a girl who could pretty much have her pick from the boys in school would suddenly decide to take me or start talking to me for no apparent reason. I'm not in a highschool movie, nor am I nearly as positive or good looking as anyone from one of those movies. Its just stupid.

...on our own.

Goin' down the only road we've ever known.

Like Drifter, we were born to dance alone.

An' we've made up our minds.

We aren't wastin' no more time.

But, here we go again.

Here we go again.

The actual prom itself is kinda wack. The real fun is getting hammered at the afterparties. However, I have a feeling that may not apply here...

Hooray, I have to take my lunch early at work tomorrow and I'll be all alone for 5 hours at the end of the day.

I loved the prom. LOVED IT.

Dish, it just occurred to me that you could always look for people illegally parked in handicapped spots and go all Luke on them. That'll cheer you up and solve some of the world's problems.

Okay, this is hard to believe, but oh so true: We're hiring for a B2B account executive and held a few interviews today. This one guy walks in, light khaki pants, blue shirt, red tie, brown coat. I'd say he was in his mid-fifties, and had a whiff of booze to him. Not like he smelled of beer, or strongly of alcohol, but he had a smell to him like he may have gotten wasted last night.

I didn't get to see the entire interview, but I walked by the office he was being interviewed in at the tail end. After the hand shake, he asked the recruiter "Would you like a movie?"

"Huh?", and that was the appropriate answer from the recruiter. The guy went on, "Here's a DVD I helped a couple make in New Bern, NC. It's family safe, and I did all the marketing for this film and thought you should have a copy".

"Um. Okay", again an appropriate response from the recruiter. Then the interviewee says while giggling, "So, do I just expect to get a check in the mail next week? Ha ha ha!".
So bizarre.

SMILE: Solidified my plans for this Saturday. I'm hosting a CAGE MATCH for a group of my friends. Three Nicolas Cage movies, back to back to back. CON AIR, FACE OFF, and THE ROCK. There will be some sort of meal to accompany each film. Should be a blast.
