HOLY SHIT post pics good luck!
Spoke with the guy, he was kinda strange, told me he would only show the cabs between 6 and 7pm, and to call back right before that. So I am currently waiting till about 5 or so to call, since it will take me about 45 minutes to get to where he is at.

Maybe show up with a truck ready to load? The owner might change his mind or someone else might snag them.
Good luck, A very nice find hopefully you pick up with that pickup!

PS2 Guncon Adapter - from aaron
I already have the PS1 grey adapter version, this is a little more compact. My lightguns have little use with my HDCRT, but do come to play when I set up the SD Tube once in a while such as Halloween nights outside.

However, the Guncon adapters have a very unique undocumented feature. My PS2 has a LCD screen flip top on top of the HDAdvance disc hard drive Import install Flip Top. With the Guncon adapter both the Component and Composite cables are hooked up at once. This allows 480p mode to the HDCRT and Composite to the mini LCD for monitoring drive installs. No need of switching cables, the 480p mode is used only during actual gameplay on select games. :D

PS2 NTSC Rez Trance and Game Set - from hashiriya1
Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh wait, that quote was from another trippy shooter Tempest X. Dreamcast Rez has always been my favorite coupled with the MadCatz vibration pack. It would really pound to the beat in my paws, one killer of a Rail Shooter. The PS2 vibration is lame by comparison with just the Duel Shock. I have read about the PS2 Trance years ago including hints of let's just say an unusual placement vibration toy.

When I started PS2 Rez at the first level, the Trance did not kick right away even though the Duel Shock controller motors reacted. Thought it was broken or a bad USB port connection? However, once the music kicked up started feeling the beats in the Trance. It works great placed near the heart, the real treat is behind the neck. It really kicks up the "motion" affect of each beat. Not in a headache producing way, but a more immerse experience. Think of at a concert standing next to the stage by the huge woofers, the pounding against your body. Now without the ringing in the ears afterwards. Well maybe a little motion balance disorientation afterwards for a few minutes.

Maybe 360 owners could mod their controllers for some sort of Quad Trance experience hooked up to their lounger? The PS2 Trance works on both the Japanese and US release of Rez. Space Channel 5 Part 2 also produces the vibration hits in the Trance; Right, Left, Right, Left, Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! :D

I also tried Raw Danger that is not Trance compatible. Raw Danger has the distinction of working with the Para Para controllers, missed out not buying mjmjr25's set he had for sale some months back. There is the import version of Disaster Report that is supposed to Trance kick, unsure of the US version though. I wonder if there might be other Trance games that have undocumented support. With around 2000 titles give or take, got to be some out there hidden, maybe a few other really obscure Japanese titles?

Big Thank You to Hash, this is so sweet! Puts the PS2 version up there and maybe better then the DC version in the vibro kick. Yes I am a complete REZ nut! Have both versions of the Rez soundtrack CDs, the prototype KProject, DC Rez with obligatory lightup MadCatz puru pak and PS2 Rez. Also picked up the Qubed disc for Rez HD on the 360, might even tackle that Quad Vibro Mod!

K-Project - https://www.unseen64.net/2008/04/10/k-p ... prototype/

My PS2 and Dreamcast REZ collection. Note the earlier K Project prototype Dreamcast version that has mouse support, completely different music tracks and alternate level versus the commercial Japan and PAL Dreamcast releases.

So I called back the dude with the cabs, and man is he an ass. First off, he is all making it seem like I am bothering him calling, saying that he is busy and keeps being bothered (thats what happens when you post your phone number online). He tells me to call back later, since he is in the middle of something, so I politely ask what time would be good, as I dont want to continue to bother him, and he just says that he is in no hurry, and has things to do ,and keeps getting bothered blah blah. So I tell him good luck, and hang up the phone.

I hate when people are like that. I almost did not buy my Big Blue just cause I though the guy was a major ass.

I found one of these tucked in with the CDs at a small thrift shop a few years ago. Since the soundtrack was only released in Japan, it was quite a strange thing to find there. It is a great album, however, and I have been very happy with my purchase.

On topic, I (as usual) picked up some games this weekend...my big find however was a $1.85 copy of:

But it's based on the #1 arcade smash.

This is true. Also, and in case you didn't know, it does feature Aerosmith. In fact, the full title of the game is:

Revolution X(TM) - Music Is the Weapon(TM) featuring Aerosmith(R)

All of this text appears on the cart's top label, and I am almost surprised that Acclaim did not have to use two lines of text to fit it all.

Also...but are the labels on Acclaim/LJN NES and SNES carts made of a cheaper material than the labels on carts by other publishers? They feel cheaper to me, and in my experience, the number of bad labels on Acclaim/LJN carts is much higher than the number of bad labels on carts produced by other publishers.

NES, yes, I know that for sure. They were one of the only companies besides Nintendo themselves who were allowed to manufacture their own carts.
