Just got my PS3 copy of Ketsui, and played a run just to see how it was.

Holy hell, I'd forgotten how intense this game is. Everything is just so in your face all the time. Got to the 3rd Stage boss and was at over 19 mil. Good stuff. Now I just need to get my hands on a copy of SDOJ.

Returned to playing the OG DonPachi. I was close to a 1cc once upon a time, but I fell out of practice. Now I'm dying at the third boss. Back to work!

Just started playing Layer Section yesterday. Loving it. I like the simple gameplay, nothing too fancy, just shoot and dodge, no complicated scoring mechanics and stuff like that. I like how the levels all flow into eachother too, it's a cool touch

So, uh, just discovered the Darius series. More specifically - Darius Plus, Darius Gaiden, and G Darius. Plus is kinda slow and hard and just okay, but the other two..... Damn I may have a new favorite shmup series.
