Despite having had access to far higher resolutions I can't really seem to find a good reason to upgrade my own personal TV. It's a 4 year old Samsung LED LCD and it still has damn good image quality and far better speakers than average.

Meanwhile my grandpa just bought a 4k TV and swears he can see the difference (his eyesight is shit by the way).

I love 4k tvs when I see them...from five feet away or less. Past that they look so similar that it is not worth the price to upgrade.

People count their games?

I guide people into my game room, say "look at all of this awesome shit", and then start opening closets and say "wait... there's more".

Every time I buy a game I add it to my RFGen list.

I used to use backloggery to keep track of my collection, but eh. All I need to know is if I have a game I'd like to play.

I'm playing devil's advocate as when I have free time I LOVE to organize stuff. Comics, records, movies, games...etc. Should I order by genre, time frame, color, character, etc? Not sure why, but i get a kick out of re-organizing already organized collections. It's not simply "something to do", it's a time to once in a blue moon shout "Holy Fuck I forgot I had this!!!!".

This should be in the Smile/Ticked thread, but I'm on a roll.

-What started as half joke and half peer pressure turned into something stupid, which both peer pressure and jokes are. What really pisses me off is that I didn't place a bet on this situation.

So, , I got talked into a modeling audition, for fun, and unfortunately I got a gig. It's not a runway thing, but pics for a local tailor for a local magazine. It's weekend work, so no worries, and I'm doing this so my friends can laugh their asses off. My wife and family will also more than likely laugh at even the idea as me modeling clothes, but I like shiny happy people so away I go to makeup.

You would cry at the site of my PC collection. Games on spindles, games in books. Games in random cases, games in drawers, games loose in drawers. My PC collection is the worst kept and I need to spend some time cleaning it up.
