Rebel Strike is next on my list.

There are so many Star Wars games out there (and I own most of them) that trying to rank them would drive me bonkers. With that in mind, Rogue Leader really does an excellent job at setting the stage for a Star Wars flyer. It's fun, provides a challenge, but where it really shines would be the atmosphere of the game. It "fits" the SW Universe.

Godzilla Destroy all Monsters is silly fun. Any fan of the movie series should own this game regardless of the fact if they like video games or not. Sure, not every character in the series is playable, but there are enough monsters to choose from to make it worth purchasing.

Ribbit King is now one of my favorite games. It's so fun and bizarre that you simply have to play it to "get it". Even after beating ever level/world, I'm already replaying it. It's a golf game, and it's not...again, you have to play it to understand how whimsical it is.

LOTR TT. I prefer this on the Crube for reasons unknown even to me. It's basically an interactive movie with a lot more action and a lot less walking,

I am glad to hear this. Ribbit King has been high on my "want list" for several months now, and I will have to work even harder now to track down a copy.

The game is a trip.

"You're an alien who travels multiple planets to gain a necessary power source by hitting frogs with a sledgehammer, but are ultimately judged by a giant gay monster" doesn't do it justice.

Make sure you get both discs if you find a copy!

I love Rogue Leader so much. I remember first seeing the Death Star level when the game came out, and it blew my mind in a "games will never ever look better than this oh my god" way. Such a huge visual leap over the N64.

I'm so sorry that you're playing Rebel Strike next. :(

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age always looked like one of the best LotR games to me. I like the fact that it's not based on a movie.

Though I never have tried the movie-based games...

Aw man. Strike isn't so good?

Rogue is one of those great "passy" games to play with friends, as everyone wants to play it but only allows for one player. It's definitely a control hog game. And I agree, we've all taken an AT-AT before on other consoles, but this time it felt so much more "real".

I still laugh when I see that the game boasts "Featuring the voice of Denis Lawson, the original Wedge Antilles!". Because of course who doesn't want to hear his memorable voice?

It's a step down for sure. Those on foot levels really weren't a good idea.

The flying sections are pretty awesome, but they're far less frequent than before :(

Its awesome that they can get more TIEs on screen though. The battle when you're leaving Hoth is awesome.

Two Towers (GCN, PS2) and Return of the King (PC) are great and deliver exactly what you would expect. Cut-scenes from the movie that go straight into combat. Serious combat. You versus 100 orcs at a time combat. The combat mechanics are just like the Arkham games, block, counter, attack, repeat. The games also do a great job of capturing the look of Jackson's movies.

You might already know this, but Rebel Stike has a two-player co-op version of Rogue Leader included in it. It also has both of the old Star Wars arcade games, and it ends up being one of those games where the bonus/special features outweigh the somewhat mediocre single-player campaign.
