But does the uniform look good on you? That's what really matters.

Smile: my niece came home today. She looks uncannily like my daughter. Lol

You should be able to find a great looking Timex wind up watch for dirt cheap on e-bay. The one my Father still has was issued to him when he served in Vietnam.Fragems wrote:: Been wanting a wind up watch for a while now and found a working older one at the estate I have been working on. It's just a cheapy from Hong Kong but it still winds and keeps good time. I like wearing watches but got so tired of battery powered ones dieing or breaking on me things are so damn cheap any more
.
I have a beauty of a Bulova, but I haven't worn it once this year.

Only have pictures of the wardrobe I just picked up. Need to drag my trunks out that I have everything stored in so I will take some shots of my other stuff later this week and throw them in the what else do you collect thread.BoringSupreez wrote:Do you have pictures?Fragems wrote:Collect military uniforms on the side. That is an awesome idea. I modified a version of the Legend of Zelda so the story on the title scroll was about my wife and I and the wedding party was the items, then had a contact put it on NES carts for me. Since Legend of Zelda is our favorite series, it was a no brainer. Just took me six months to figure out how to do.Luke wrote:Speaking of gifts, I recently talked to a great pal of mine who still thanks me for the gift I got him at my wedding, a jump drive. Each of the guys who stood up at my wedding got a customized jump drive full of pictures of us together and all our favorite music. And I'm talking about dozens of albums and hundreds of pictures.
Smile - My wife and I checked out some property we are interested in buying. Had they not recently logged some of the property it would be like a fantasy novel forest - though some of the big old trees are still there. We recently had an offer on our house of 60k more than we paid for it (we still owe alittle under 100k), so we could almost buy the land and pay off the house in one go. The hesitation is that while the lot is awesome, it is bare. We would have to build a house on the lot and we just do not have the money to do so right now.
However when we were sitting down and ballparking ideas back and forth for an ideal house the idea that finally came down was, if I get the promotion at work (which we will know in a couple months - it is complicated), and the land is still for sale, we will buy it and build a castle. Not a full out Royale Castle, but a Norman Keep that can be expanded out by hand as time goes on. So I started investigating this online and there are more people than I thought building them (or have built them), and several did it the way I was planning on with concrete blocks. And now I want to start working with masonry. I am pretty sure we have a powered cement mixer at the farm.
Ticked - Missed dinner last night, thanks to Civ3 and my wife not being at home, so lunch was not enough food today. My stomach is grinding.

My grandmother passed away last night.
