I have a digital download key if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM with a low but reasonable offer. :)

Edit: no longer available.

May as well also note that I have an original model Vita in very good shape. 8GB card included.

Finally found a Borderlands Bundle. Found it at a store that was allegedly out of stock according to the person on the phone.

The 2000 is really nice. I wish it had glass covering the entire front like the original model but the LCD is plenty nice. Feels really solid in the hands just like the first one and exudes that "premium" feel that I loved so much in the original. Much thinner than I was expecting but I don't quite remember how thick the first one felt in my hands.

I'll share my opinions on Borderlands once it finishes downloading in a few hours or so. Mountain internet = bad internet.

BL2 on Vita doesn't/can't hold a candle to the PC version, but I'm enjoying it a lot anyway (I'm half way done the campaign with a mechromancer). Some hiccups and concessions, but if you aren't too picky about slow-down and what not it is very enjoyable.

Ah, yeah, I've kinda lost hope of that happening at this point. :( One can hope I guess.

I do own Ragnarok Odyssey Ace and I really like the game a lot.
Looking into it, that seems pretty cool. I'll check it out. Thanks!

No problem!

I should also say that Ragnarok Odyssey Ace has some similarities to the Monster Hunter series as well (which I also love). Combat is much faster and more fluid than MH though. There is quite a bit of item collection for making new gear but not to the extent of MH (Personally, I really like the collection/crafting portion of MH but not everyone likes it as much as I do).

But you go out on missions to kill X number of monsters or a big boss monster. You can hire semi-useful NPC mercenaries to help you. You whack stuff with over-sized weapons, etc.

The super-jumping-semi-flying aspect of combat is really cool as well and very different from MH (don't know if PS does that or not).

A few quick thoughts on my new Vita and Borderlands 2:

Battery life on the new Vita seems a bit better.

Love the analog sticks

Its really impressive how the whole B2 experience is here. It doesn't look or sound half bad either. Which is nice, since Vita, PSP, and 3DS games seem to usually have pretty poor sound.

The speakers also seem better? I might be imagining that. As I said before it has been a long while since I've held an original Vita.

The framerate ranges from terrible but playable to nigh-on unplayable. Luckily it seems to hold to the former for the majority of the time. Working up the tower to kill Cpt. Flynt was a PITA. So far all the more open areas seem to run adequately. Still not where I'd like it to be but...

I'm still having a ton of fun with the game and I already prefer it to the original Borderlands. It also translates well to being a portable experience far more so than some of the things I have read had led me to believe.

Glad I waited to get that game. I'd much prefer it on a handheld vs. consoles.

Just read that Child of Light is releasing on Vita sometime in July. I can see myself getting it.

I've been really enjoying Borderlands 2 on the Vita. I had to order a different grip from Amazon since I'm getting pretty bad cramping with the trigger grips I've had since the original launch.

I have to commend Iron Galaxy since they did a respectable job with porting BL2 to the Vita. The entire experience is here which is pretty impressive and shows the relevancy of a dedicated gaming device.

That's probably the release I will get as well. Wonder if it'll be cross buy. Was going to get the PC version eventually but portable sounds more appealing. It's a very pretty game, and I had the chance to try it out at PAX East... Honestly, I found the combat kind of slow and boring. But I'd still like to give it more of a try.
