He was damn good in the ring, he played one of the best heels of all-time, and he was willing to sacrifice his body in the name of a good match. As Ric Flair said, "If you want to be the man, you've got to beat the man. Wooo!!!" The list of wrestlers better than HHH is a short one, IMO.

As for the women's division, call me sexist then, because I have only seen 2 women ever that's as good as the guys in the ring and that's Chyna and Lita. And neither of them are anywhere to be seen, right now. Until I see that kind of quality in the women's division of either WWE or TNA, then I guess I'll continue to be sexist.

Randy Orton definitely does work better as a heel, no argument there.

And I did see Mark Henry's 2011 run. "House of Pain". Yeah, it just felt, meh, to me. More WWE PG-era mediocrity, IMO.
I'm with you on the women's wrestling. It will never be as entertaining as the mens as long as they continue to scream, pull hair and look like models. It's like watching Mean Girls. The only female wrestler I enjoyed watching was ODB as she had power moves, an actual character and a decent mic presence.
I also agree that Triple H is worthy of screen time. I know the politics took him far but there's no denying he always entertains. He even came out for half hour on Raw to tell jokes when most of the roster were stuck in Europe a few years back. I'd rather see HHH than John Bloody Cena.

I haven't watched more than the first hour of Raw. From your responses, I'm guessing The Rock didn't show up. Isn't his big PPV match this month? Is he just showing the week before? Did he forget how to hype a main-event PPV match?

Rock will be on the next Raw

I HATED Raw this week. It was the kind of show that makes me ask why do I still watch pro wrestling.

On a more positive note, Punk has held the title for an entire calender year, which hasn't happened since Hogan was champ in 1987. It's also a leap year, last time someone's been champ for a whole leap year was Bob Backlund in 1980

I still think Punk should retain until Mania and face Taker, but WWE doesn't know how to build up epic matches at Mania anymore

On another note, don't ever watch Raw on HuluPlus

I haven't watched a minute of the holiday RAWs. I'm sure it is filled with the corny stuff that I cant stand and they are absolutely throw-away shows.

Now, business will pick up with the January 7th RAW as Ryback has the title match and once that is behind them, they can build to Punk/Rock and the actual Rumble match - which will more than sell that PPV to a big number.

Yeah, who is watching RAW on Christmas eve or New Years eve? WWE realizes this.

For a throw away Raw it wasn't too bad Monday night. Wade Barrett winning the IC title was great.

When I say the WWE doesn't have badass heels. Imagine a heel so badass he could take on two babyfaces and actually have the advantage. This video from The Raid Redemption (spoilers) is what I mean by badass heel

Imagine if the WWE built up someone like Rybak or Brock Lesnar to be this kind of heel. Wouldn't you tune in every week just to see if anyone could take him down?

Did anyone see TNA Impact last week. I have 2 major gripes:

1. WTF are they doing to Roode and Aries? Arguably the 2 best guys on TNA's roster right now, and they want to turn them into rip-offs of Team Hell No from WWE, which Team Hell No's gimmick is freaking retarded so why do they want to copy it anyways? And if they do, use some talent that's not doing anything to do it, not 2 of your best guys.

2. At the end of the show, there's like 10 Aces & Eights guys in the ring, and Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe have already received beatdowns and are on the ground. In runs Sting and Aces & Eights scatters...really? 10 of them vs. Sting and 2 beat-up guys, and the 10 guys run out of the ring scared?! Yeah, that makes sense.

I watched most of it, though I had missed about a month's worth of episodes prior to last week's episode. I didn't see the very end but I pretty much hate anything with Sting, so I don't have much more to say about him and Aces & Eights. I'm sure Sting was awesome back in his younger WCW days, but in his current TNA form he just seems like a guy who needs to retire already.

Team Hell No has gotten kind of silly, but they've had some genuinely funny moments, enough to make up for some of the stupider ones. And the crowd seems to still dig them. It's one of the better PG era WWE things they've done. I think Daniel Bryan has been carrying this gimmick mostly on his shoulders though. It's the yes/no chants that people pop for.

Eventually though, they'll have to split them up and maybe try and make Kane a badass again. DB seems good in his goofy role though, so I seem him continuing that way when he goes back to being a singles guy, much like the goofy role Kurt Angle played for a long time in WWE.

I thought Roode/Aries was entertaining. They butted heads when Aries was a face. I like that they still don't get along now that he's a heel. WWE has this annoying habit of making all heels and faces automatically get along, even when they shouldn't for story line reasons. As long as this is a short term thing, I'm fine with it. My biggest problem with TNA right now is Hardy as champ. I just can't stand that guy anymore and his stupid "creatures of the night" bullshit and retarded facepaint. I do love Aries. In a way, I see him as sort of TNA's CM Punk. I think you're overrating Roode a little as one of their best guys. He's good, but something about him screams mid card to me. James Storm was the better half of beer money. He should be their top guy AND their champ. He's like a mix of Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Sorry bout your damn luck!

I wish Bully Ray would go heel again and be revealed as leader of Aces & Eights. He'd be FAAAAAAR more interesting in that role than Doc or Dvon.

Weak Raw tonight, Punk was rambling with his in ring promo. I think they've forced him to stay out there for too long. He tried to be edgy, but you can't get back that awesome feeling his original 2011 pipe bomb had. That moment is long behind us. And that promo served more of a purpose than tonight's promo did. I'm a Rock fan, but he was pretty lackluster tonight. I would have liked it if he got away from the lame jokes and just focused more on being serious. When he was, those were the better parts of his promo. Their promo exchange didn't get me excited for their match.

I feel sad for the WWE. They're just so broken right now, can't really do anything really well. It's like an aging, has been celebrity is what the WWE kind of feels like these days, poking fun at its own failings or using it as fodder for a scathing Punk promo, rather than actually trying TO FUCKING FIX THINGS!!!!

Sorry, got a little upset there.

P.S. Rybak is DONE. They've done a lot of damage to him. He may still be kind of over, but he just does NOT look like the unstoppable machine he once was. On another note, Del Rio and Miz have been AWFUL as babyfaces. Also, while I know I shouldn't have, I laughed out loud at Show beating Kofi in like 10 seconds. I know I should rant about how much this hurts him, which is true, but I just found it funny for some reason. Maybe because I just don't get that excited by Kofi these days, while I still like Show
