Most consoles have an emulator that can be played through the internet. Zsnes has it built in if I remember correctly

We need a guide for that (any existing ones out there?) so we can promote the idea for the club...

For VS games especially, this would add a LOT of depth to the club.

if somebody sends me a Mini SD card, then maybe I can mess around with it via Gameboy Player emulation?

well whatever you guys decide is how it'll be. usually if TR is a game for a system I don't collect, I use that month to play other stuff on my own. So if Clayfighter is the choice, I'll just checkout my backlog.

I couldn't help it. Sunday was rainy and I had time on my hands. The gloomy weather made the game call to me.

Has Ecco the Dolphin been a Together Retro game yet? Ecco has been released on the Genesis, Sega-CD, Game-Gear, GBA, XBLA, and Wii VC, and Ecco is also part of the Genesis compilation discs on PS2 PS3 PSP and 360 so that's a pretty decent variety of consoles to play it.

The sequel Tides of Time I think is only on the Genesis, Sega-CD and Wii VC.

It's a really unique classic game.
Many people only played the first few levels so they don't know about the time travel elements or the aliens you fight <- Highlight for potiential spoilers

I've never played Ecco for more than a couple minutes. Good suggestion.

We will try to fit Ecco in sometime next year - you are not the first to request it, but you may be the first one to request it on the forums.
