I cannot believe the luck you guys are having. I really do feel that maybe the stores in my town are at the end of the supply chain and we are just not getting any stock to any of the retailers.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
^^^ That's exactly what this was. The timing was pure luck. I didn't even go with any intentions of finding Amiibo.
That always seems to be the way, with me anyway. I never seem to find anything when I'm searching with a purpose. I always seem to stumble across treasures when it's merely an afterthought.

They vanished in the three seconds it took me to go from the Amazon search results to the product details page. Wow.
Yes, El Hoardo moves fast.
I'm still waiting for Best Buy to ship Pit, Falcon, and Luigi. They've been "preparing my order" for a few days now. They also don't seem to mind to keep a hold on money as well.
The amiibo subreddit is amazing / vindication that my goals of collecting characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, and Nintendo RD2 series is fairly tame.

People getting so crazed about these damn things is going to make Nintendo so much money. It's insane.

It's nuts. Captain Falcon is a rare and hard to find figure. Captain Falcon. Is he rare and hard to find because people really want a new F-Zero game or because people think he's rare and hard to find so they buy him whenever they see one?
