Have you had Goldeneye before?

I did, but my connect was only 1.5mbps so I was never able to get online and never bothered w/solo mission mode, so I haven't actually played it.

I have 3-7mbps now so gave it another shot and was able to get on w/no problems.

The button layout is horrible imo - wish i'd kept the gold controller pro - the classic controller is all kinds of miserable. If I customize the layout in the settings - will it save them; or do I need to re-enter them each time? Also - is there a way to move faster - it seems like in open areas i'm just moving way to slow (i'm not crouching, just moving slowly it seems).

@Flake - there's a copy up today, if I don't get i'll just grab one at GS for $20, yeah.

Yeah, you can customize the settings, and it'll save it.

I hate the Classic controller/Pro for this game. I use my Wavebird; infintely better.

As for movement, there is a sprint button that allows you to move faster for short distances.

yeah, the Classic Pro controller is the way to go with this game...or you can use a gamecube controller like foxhound do. Yes, if you customized the settings it will saved. There is a run button (B button on classic controller) to move faster for a few seconds....then you need to press it again to run repeatedly. You can also make looking around more faster too on the options (the default is on one bar, i used three bars). Also one tip, when your in an open area, don't walk....run! its more harder to snipe a moving object. And when your very near an opponent it's better to Melee them than to shoot them.
