Did you try running the installer/.exe with Windows XP compatibility settings?BoneSnapDeez wrote: Amazon: Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard ($4 + shipping). Wish I had done a little research on this one before purchasing. I thought it was a Windows Vista/7 game, it's actually a Windows 2000/XP game. Crashes when I attempt to load it on my computer. Time to drag the old PC out of the closet...

I'd try running it in compatibility mode too. Make sure it matches up with what the original requirements ask for.

I'll keep screwing with it. I have three different PCs here with Windows XP, Vista, and 7. I'm sure I can get it running on one of them.

My friend and I headed out to an indoor flea market the other day. He loaded up on standard-priced NES carts he didn't own yet (Robocop 2, Popeye, etc.), while I held out for a great deal. Found nothing at the market.
Feeling persistent however, I forced him to go with me to the thrift store next door, and landed myself a minty copy of Mario Golf on the GBC for $1.91!

Nice pickup, Mario Golf GBC is one of the best golf games I have ever played. I love the RPG-ish elements that it offers. It was well worth the $2.50 I paid for it on my trip in Chicago.Nintendork666 wrote:My friend and I headed out to an indoor flea market the other day. Yesterday at the Estarland GamesXChange event, I picked up TMNT 3 (cart only) for $15, and a Gameboy Advance SP (the newer model with the even brighter backlight) for $40 (was originally going for $45).

I hope they do more of these. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it both times.TheSSNintendo wrote:Yesterday at the Estarland GamesXChange event, I picked up TMNT 3 (cart only) for $15, and a Gameboy Advance SP (the newer model with the even brighter backlight) for $40 (was originally going for $45).

I happened to be up that way over the weekend. Spent Friday and Saturday at my brother's place (went to the Capitals game), so we went to EStarland on Sunday.
