I'm not shocked that one has matched and beat it's funding goals...I might be pledging 60 next month if i can do it.....only game i'd pay for a decent physical release lately for that price...(I don't care if you look at me weird I want a physical release even for a indie game  )

Under development since october 2013, created and developed by 3 young independant developers, "Hover: Revolt of Gamers" is a futuristic 3D parkour game in an openworld.
Halfway between the crazy universe from Jet Set Radio, the interactivity of a Mirror's Edge and inspired by movies like the 5th Element or Star Wars, "Hover: Revolt of Gamers" places itself on another world and puts you in charge of a band of Gamers revolted against opression and the anti-video-games laws that rules the city.

This is the first kickstarter I've actually funded. I want to share so you can consider it too. Looks right up my alley.
I haven't paid attention to this thread recently, and I was stopping by to post about this game, but I see you beat me to the punch. This game looks magical!

Even though it already reached its goal and not gaming related, I wanted to post this. I for one am glad that my kids will have access to Reading Rainbow. I wish it was available for streaming services somewhere but this will do for now

Also not gaming-related, but SOLAR FREAKIN' ROADWAYS. I contributed to this. I think it's a great idea.

I have one somewhere. He was our neighbor at Dragoncon a couple years ago and more often than not we shared an elevator with him. We invited him over to watch the the costume contest when we were having a party and he showed but had dinner reservations.

That has to be one of the worst ideas ever. Within about a year the roads would be covered with tire tracks and render them useless. Would they even be able to support the weight of traffic at a red light even? I'm no engineer but it seems like as it stands now the technology isn't there to even support it.

It says it's passed all regulatory minimums in terms of load-bearing and everything else. Plus, they're modular, so if one stops working, replace it with another.
