Who the heck does salvia, LSD and shrooms and game? Doesn't even happen. I don't see much coming out of life where one smokes pot while gaming, either. At least separate these two things and give drugs their own set and setting.

I've seen these guys on mental ward, all fucking loser just like me, was there as patient as well. You don't know how sad it is to see an extremely bright, older guy, just sit day after day zoning out watching TV and laughing to himself occasionally. He could only think about getting some subutex and beer on daily 30-60 min walks outside, and sedatives from other patients (mixed ward). He got in the hospital (again) for taunting somebody to beat him, because he gets kicks from that. No own home, job, school, non-druggie friends. He got kicked out for showing up drunk, and then considered pretty much hopeless case. This was just one of them there, met others in rehab as well, all pathetic as fuck.

mentally weak person should avoid any drugs including alcohol and tranqualizers. i have also seen many who couldn't bear. and to immerse in (escape to) games is just the crop of the cream.

I have to say, I never could sit down to games on shrooms. I just always feel the need to move and examine my surroundings. I just recently picked up smoking weed again. The local clinic where I work as a rad tech doesn't test. So I have recently gamed allot under a sweet influence I haven't felt since my late teens.
Metal slug on an mvs with a friend+ a bottle of jack+ a joint + 2 packs of Marlboro reds= untold havoc wrecked on my body and a fucking great night.

Indeed, mushrooms are not for contrived experiences. Most I ever do is game for a bit on the come up, until it starts getting difficult to continue. Then when you turn your attention to the real world...

Games are about the only sedentary thing I can enjoy on marijuana, despite the fact I don't actually find it to enhance social interaction. Otherwise I like to walk around or play my guitar and mind my own business.

That said, marijuana and Counter Strike go together like bread and butter. It may slow down my reflexes technically, but on the other hand I'm just less jerky and I find it much easier to control the recoil and put a bullet right where I want it. It works pretty well on maps I know because I can just preaim before rounding a corner. The problem comes in surprise situations.

Played through the first 3 Megaman games and Super Mario 1 on medium doses of Marijuana. All good times - had to pause for snacks, but -in my mind at least- I totally kicked ass. Truthfully, I'm better sober - bosses got some hits in, and I missed a couple of jumps. The experience was great and I wish it did what it used to do.

Played through a lot of Silent Hill 1 on a low dose of Mushrooms (Yeah, bad idea, but I wanted the 3rd play through to be more immersive - mission accomplished!). The empty foyer sound at the school still makes my skin crawl. My brother and friend left early into the game for a hike, and the Splithead ate me very terrifyingly. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all-in-all - I think I audibly screamed at least 5 times. That game's audio is so well made that we tried to reproduce some of it in our last album. After I got eaten I turned it off and listened to Nine Inch Nails and Korn until they got back (90's!).

Recently, I played a bit of 4 player Super Mario War & Jump'n'bump on my Xbox1 on mushrooms. We couldn't stop laughing and called it off to listen to some bassy music. Later on in the night I set my buddy up with some Super Mario Bros. 3, but neither of us could make it that far. I put on the 360 remake of Halo 1 for him and watched him play. I know that I can't play games that well on drugs, but some of my co-workers can't play if they're not on them.

"Regular" dose? No, no gaming. Got better stuff to do. Most times when I turn on a console in that state I die, and someone is happy to take the controller off my hands.

I usually drink beer - and "We already have a topic or two or three for that."

I was totally bummed that the "Can-o-Menchi" got discontinued when I smoked pot and I missed my chance (but I got high...). If it weren't for my job I'd totally have a pet Shiba Inu as an emergency food supply - I read that they're very tender cooked right.
