I got a PSP, but Vita will have a bigger screen and who knows if Sony will continue to allow people with PSPs to connect to the store and download new PSOne classics??noiseredux wrote:why wouldn't you just get a PSP -- a much cheaper portable PS1.lisalover1 wrote:Sorry to break it to you, but the Vita doesn't support PS1 classics. Not yet, anyway.jvalentine98 wrote:I might actually get one of these, but just for a portable PS1. The PSOne classics library looks to be up to snuff enough to warrant it.

I'd say Sony will let you connect a PSP to PSN as long as they can make some money.jvalentine98 wrote:who knows if Sony will continue to allow people with PSPs to connect to the store and download new PSOne classics??

Even MS (who abandoned the oXbox very quickly once the 360 came out) let the system access XBL for 4 years after being discontinued. I'm sure Sony, known for supporting their systems long after the successor has arrived, will keep PSP on the network for quite a while more.Opa Opa wrote:I'd say Sony will let you connect a PSP to PSN as long as they can make some money.jvalentine98 wrote:who knows if Sony will continue to allow people with PSPs to connect to the store and download new PSOne classics??

I have to admit I'm getting a little curious about this system. I won't budge until there are at least 10 game released (not gonna walk into another MML3 ordeal) that I know I'll play to completion however.

It was a hoax. I suspected as such before I even found out. Why else would he tweet about it? I figured it was a publicity stunt.noiseredux wrote:Following a night of performing live at the Video Game Awards on SpikeTV, famed DJ Deadmau5 apparently left a yet-to-be-released PS Vita sitting in a L.A. cab.

Here's a Silent Hill: Book of Memories screenshot.

There are some more on gamefaqs and other similar sites.

I think it's supposed to have multiplayer as well. Killing monsters that crawl out of the netherhells with a group of friends sounds like a lot of fun.Stark wrote:This looks like Silent Hill meets a dungeon crawler... awesome!

Isn't it out in japan yet? I'm surprised no one here has bought one overseas and has told the tale about it.
