I dont have a BC model, but I have a 40GB phat, so pretty old. I had no problem...?Mechblue wrote:I've heard people with the backwards compatible (and older) PS3 systems have been getting yellow light errors from the latest firmware update. Can anyone with one of these older systems confirm or deny this happening?
I just got this older PS3 and I don't want to mess it up with a firmware update.

Forgot I had a different email account on my PSP. Woohoo! I get to download four more games! Hello Dead Nation!

Downloaded the updates and everything seems to be ok.
Wonder if I'll get any free games, I wasn't on the PSN before it went down.
Edit: Looks like it won't let my new account download the free games. The previous owner seems to have had an account on the PSN wonder if i should change their password and download the games. Would they be accessible to other users on the system?

Every single update comes with people claiming the update 'bricked' their system.Mechblue wrote:I've heard people with the backwards compatible (and older) PS3 systems have been getting yellow light errors from the latest firmware update. Anyone?Xeogred wrote:Obviously I don't use PSN very much myself... but uh how do I download the PSP titles? I even went back to find them in the listing (Killzone) and there was no indicator that I owned it or could possibly redownload it.
