I'd like to echo these sentiments. I'm only 21, and certainly not ready to support a child of my own yet, but this thread really does put a smile on my face.

Exposing your kids to the rich history of gaming so early in their lives is doing a world of good for them. The games they play now are ones that they'll more than likely reflect on later in life, asking themselves, "Now what the hell was that game called again?" And who better to ask than their own parent!?

They're not only having fun learning a bit about what the world was like before their time, but are also picking up on the values of taking care of their material possessions, and any other problem-solving skills the games they are playing are actually teaching them. Hell - Chrono Trigger helped me learn how to read!

Way to go, parents of racketboy, way to go.

I'm only 20, but I PROMISE you that whenever I do have a kid, an NES controller is going in that thing's hand the second they wipe off the gross childbirth gunk.

This is my 6yo playing PSX before dinner tonight:

I like this kid.

I've still got a while before junior can wrap his mittens around an SNES controller. He seems to enjoy the glow of my Vita's screen though.

I posted a picture of my grandson playing earlier in the thread, but you can tell by these pictures that he is a true gamer and not a "fanboy" for any system or company.

Walmart carries alot of the t-shirts and the book bags in child and adult sizes.There are some for girls but not alot the t-shirts can go either way cause i have most the guy shirts another good place is 5 below that is where i get foxs stuff and sometimes ebay.
