This is rapidly turning into a full blown meet-up. HYPE for Thanksgaming!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

"I love it when a plan comes together."

Does anyone have typing of the dead? I have two keyboards and two mice that I will be bringing for Outtrigger.

It wouldn't be a racketboy meet-up without fugly destructoid folk doing one at the same time. I guess they aren't going to Gameover this time.

Haha, I remember reading something on the old forum (before it got seriously remodeled and fucked up) about them holding get-together around the Austin Comic-con.

Going to pull out some of my DC stuff tonight or tomorrow and do some checks. Flake, what games are you bringing?

I'll let you know if any of that changes, just should be two of us at the moment.

Hi there......just curious, are you coming in from out-of-town? If so, where are you coming from?

Project Justice, Marvel vs Capcom, Capcom vs SNK, and (for laughs) Virtual-On

Hi! Yes, I'm coming from about 4 hours away, north Dallas area (Murphy, right next to Plano). Looking forward to the meet.

Not sure what I should be bringing, sounds like right now it's just 2 PSX to DC converters and maybe an arcade stick. There's an (incomplete) list of games we have that I started typing up a while back, maybe check out the DC section and see if there's anything you want to play (although it's a small collection and not too many 4P greats in there):

BTW I'd like to see a 7800 meet sometime.

I'll bring my 7800 to the meet early next year. I only have a few games though.

Sweet! I can help on games. I have:

-Centipede (also have a trackball hacked version, good fun for co-op)
-Joust
-Asteroids
-Dig Dug
-Pole Position II
-Xevious
-Mario Bros.
-Donkey Kong
-Donkey Kong Jr.
-Food Fight
-Robotron 2084
-Crossbow
-Klax (reproduction of an unreleased game, not sure if that's kosher for the meet up)
-Space Invaders (excellent homebrew)

So mostly the common stuff. I also have the first Harmony cartridge for 2600 stuff but that's no good for the game store meet up at least.

For controllers I got 2 trackballs (CX-22 and CX-80, I think, one has a yellow ball and the other is black), modded Radica Space Invader 7800 sticks (from jaybird3rd of AtariAge, great for 4-way games but a bit difficult to use the diagonals on at the moment, he's trying to help me with that though), and 2 sets of paddles. I avoid the Pro-Line and original Atari joystick and use the Genesis pads if I need 8-way.

I do have few 2600 games but they're mostly common ones, it'd take me a while to type them up.

The multiplayer is slim in the 7800 department at least, but it could be a fun side diversion to have some random high score competitions running along side whatever else is happening.

I'm looking forward to the 7800 expansion module, that'd actually be out before the next "big" meet! Seems like a perfect time to revisit the 7800.

Barnyard Blaster
Food Fight
Galaga
Hat Trick
Joust
Pole Position II

That's what I've got, so a little overlap. Though Barynard is a light gun game and I don't have one. So that pretty much leaves Galaga as the only game I have that you don't that's worth bothering with.
