I'm ashamed to admit I already thought of that, if only because "Popó" is already the term children use for poop in Spanish.

So yeah, I'm sorry Michi but I laughed at that

And yeah, that thread...I think it simply spiralled out of nowhere. I think we brought more to the thread than we should have. At least I did, my posts don't really make much sense in cotextm though I was trying to veer away from the topic.

I thought it was "Caca".

Also, I think the joke was funny precisely because Bogus added the "Get it? Poop?" he preemptively addressed the crickets.

The Spanish language, being so rich, has many ways of refering to human excrements. "Caca" is like a softer "crap", and not really said much by adults, but "Popó" is far more infantile, it's one of those words only babies say.

I bet English has words like that but I've never heard of 'em.

poo poo is very much a term that young children use for poop, so it isn't that odd. poopy, doodie etc.

And there is nothing wrong with a bit of self awareness in ones cheesiness. I know you laughed jp1, I saw the deleted post!!!

Deleted post you say? It must have been Popo.

I did laugh though, I have had no sleep and the wording was quite funny to me.

I'm on Amazon. Reading 1-star reviews for children's board books.

People are insane.

"The dialogue is boring. Not much happens in the book."

IT WAS WRITTEN FOR 2 YEAR OLDS.

Oh sure, everyone understands Bogus' humor, but nobody cares for mine. I see how you all are. *sobs*

 They're just bitter that the Dick and Jane books have fallen out of favor. Those are considered highbrow literature, don't you know.

Your cats and my cats have been talking, apparently. Our older cat likes to lick water off the shower curtain as well. She especially loves to come into the bathroom and stand on the edge of the tub so that when you are done showering, she is there to lick the water off your toes when you prop your feet up to dry off. She also likes flopping on the bathroom carpet for foot pets.

The other cat, the slightly younger male always heads for the bed when he hears me getting out of the shower. I dress in the bedroom, and if he's on the bed I'll occasionally wrestle him a little, and it's become a routine for him every weekday morning to get a little hands-on attention before I leave for work.

Awwwww! When I get out of the shower my one cat licks the water off of my feet while the other lets me know in no uncertain terms that it's time for breakfast.

One fun thing I do on the weekends is I'll go downstairs and bum around on the internet before feeding them; this is because I usually don't shower right after waking up and I don't want them to associate me waking up with being fed immediately. So they'll be chilling with me and waiting for me to get up, and when I do they dash upstairs. And my one cat will get worried that I'm not coming and run back to check on me. If I time things right she'll run down to the landing (split level house), see me, and immediately turn around and run back up to the kitchen. It never fails to make me laugh.
