Went to a yard sale an older couple was having and stumbled upon a box full of Nintendo Power Magazines (Issues 60-121), got them all for $10 and some old next generation mags as well. After digging through their stuff I asked them if they had any other video game related stuff, she told me her son works at Bethesda Studios and had a ton of stuff he was going to bring over to sell. I left my number with her and she promised I'd get first pick out of the lot!!!

Having a good weekend. Haven't had a lot of time to stop, but the quick stops I have made have been fruitful. Stopped at a giant flea market with my wife on our trip home from Cincinnati today and found these few items.

Total cost 9.00. I am most excited about the wave bird, which cost me two dollars. I have an extra receiver at home. Good two dollars spent to complete the set

You spent too much on Duke Nukem Forever.

SNKnicotine: Please keep us updated, that's an awesome find on the Nintendo Power Mags, are they in good shape?

I am in the small amount of people that enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever. There is a massive hate train attached it, so many people who hate on it have not even played it.

No it is not the best FPS that was ever made, yes it has problems, but I found it enjoyable enough to play from start to finish. Heck games like the first Resistance I found too boring to play to the end, but managed with Duke.

The only thing that overtly bothered me was the 'down the sights' feature, which was really just a zoom in, so I never used it, after that I found the game was fine to me.

Same thing with Aliens: CM, yes it has lots of launch issues, look at someone like noise who said he he enjoyed it from start to finish, so did I. People just love to hate on shit.

Play it yourself (good on you for buying it, even at a low price) and form your own opinion.

Dude, any game for $1.72 (CIB w/ no stickers) is worth it. :P

Not when you start to have more games that room to store them, you start to think about if a game is worth a place on your shelf, not just its monetary value.
