Decided to give Brutal Legend another try. I am enjoying it so far. It is a generic hack n slash/RTS, but the metal reference and voices make up for it. I am impressed at how little they tried to cover up who some of the voices are  Lemmy Kilmister voices the Kill Master and it looks exactly like him. It also has Tim Curry as the bad guy so it gets some more points in my book.

It's weird because I actually have a few games in my rotation now. I'm usually the type of gamer that only plays one game at a time and then moves onto the next after completion or boredom.

My current rotation:
Puyo Puyo Tetris - PS3 - about 80% through
Trials Fusion - PS4 - up to hard tracks
Cut the Rope: Triple Threat - 3DS - almost finished the first game out of 3
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer - Dreamcast - working on my track times

I used to be a "one at a time" gamer as well. I've found that over time I've loosened that rule considerably. I often have two or three games going at once. I don't, however, take on more than one RPG at a time.

There's a lot I like about Brutal Legend. There's also a lot I don't like. Depends on the day whether I say I like it or don't like it. :S

Agreed. I think for me the gameplay isn't the saving grace by any means. I just love the metal world. The creators definitely knew their target audience and catered to them.

I am playing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3). It is basically, IMO, Tomb Raider 2 (PS1) with more compelling combat, less compelling platforming, and fewer puzzles. That is not necessarily a bad thing since I am enjoying the game quite a bit and can't wait to get back to it tonight. (Also, I have read good things about the sequels...)

I am also playing Angry Birds: Star Wars (3DS). It is a fun game, but there is just too much of it...

I'm having the same problem with Cut the Rope: Triple Threat. It's definitely a very enjoyable game; however, there are three full, separate games in this package and I'm still not even done with the original game.
