Who is "Y'all"?

As in "Dave is Y'all" and it's just another over hyped superhero movie, or as in "Gamerforlife is Y'all" and it's actually an incredible film?

I am surprised it took you that long to watch it. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is a really fun movie that, yes is a bit overhyped, but is still a very entertaining film.

Just finished this, which is on Hulu along with other great Criterion Collection films:

THE 400 BLOWS

Brilliant! Incredible. But then again, the only other French New Wave film I've seen is Jean-Luc Godard's "Breathless".

The full cast of Suicide Squad looks astonishingly horrible. Like if the people behind Mad TV were the designers.

Found this pic of Deadshot and am still wondering why the reticle is over his left eye if he is right handed?
EDIT: and yes, they all look ridiculous. They seem to be trying to ride the line between over the top and realistic. This is going to bomb

big willie style y'all

The lady and I watched The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness this past weekend. Fascinating look at the main personalities behind Studio Ghibli, with a focus on Miyazaki.

I'm glad that someone else around here watches good movies.

The 400 Blows is great, and Breathless is also outstanding. If you liekd those, I highly recommend Truffaut's other films - there are almost as many Doniel films as there are Star Wars films - and I think you will also like Band a Part. If they are available, you might also want to check out Pierre Etaix's films.

That first line sounded a bit condescending :)

I watched Jules et Jim a while ago. It was interesting. I'll try to see these other ones.

I have a tradition that I do every other month. I make a big pot of red beans and rice, and some Mexican cornbread, and a glass of milk. And I devour all that stuff while watching an old western. This time it was while watching The Searchers, a John Wayne film. I would be lying if I said I thought this was a good movie. The best aspect for me was the scenery, definitely some amazing backdrops in this film. However watching this movie made me really consider how far as a culturally conscious society we've come. And how accepted the politically incorrect societal norms were during this film's creation. Or maybe the film really was portraying accurately the bigotry and racism of its era. All the same it was ugly stuff in that regard. But that scenery!
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
