It's a big step down from some of the amazing animated Batman films we've seen when Bruce Timm was still involved with these DC movies, but it's not bad at all though. Just don't go in expecting Mask of the Phantasm levels of awesomeness, or my other two favorite Batman animated movies (Under the Red Hood and Return of the Joker uncut). I think comic fans will be annoyed that they've stripped away so much of the Court of Owls storyline and taken so many liberties with it. It's easy to hate this movie if you come in with certain expectations.

On its own merits though, the story is decent, the voice cast is fine (though there are some people who seem to hate the casting for these Damian centric movies) and the animation quality is great. And the action sequences...they really deliver big time. There's even some decent characterization in this movie too. Plus, it's got Nightwing.

A solid 7 from me.
I also watched Batman VS Robin recently. I agree with this review. The best thing about Batman VS Robin was the fight scenes and Nightwing (side note: we need more animated Nightwing). By the way, did you notice that Kevin Conroy voiced Bruce Wayne's father in this movie? I thought that was pretty cool.
Yeah, I thought that was him. That is pretty cool. They also had Troy Baker and "Weird Al" Yankovic on the cast to. And Sean Maher for Firefly fans

Nightwing really shines in these movies. I wanted more of him in Under the Red Hood and in Son of Batman. I got my wish in this movie

He's great here:

The cape over the head beatdown

And how awesome is this?

The Protector 2

What a pile of crap :P. The special effects and edits were so bad in spots that I cringed. Plus the story was horrible which usually isn't a big issue for me in foreign action films, but in this case the action was so ruined by special effect, sloppy cinematography, and poor acting that a seemingly decent story could have helped save it. Overall this is probably one of the worst movies featuring Tony Ja that I have seen so far.

On another note I have yet to see a movie featuring RZA not suck. I can't fully blame his poor acting on tanking every movie he has been in, but it sure hasn't helped any of them :P.

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

Watched this on Netflix last night and really enjoyed it.

Definitely not the best written movie, but it's a fun experience. Definately worth checking out if you like your standard action flick from the 80s. Fred Ward actually really surprised me with some of the action sequences and his character came off as very likable. Kind of sad that there weren't more films in the series.

I so need to watch this...heck I still need to watch the batman movies I bought off the bundle(I wish they'd add the animated movies to a bundle at least the ones from the 90's and early 00's). Heck nightwing does need more animation....beyond this and the little blurb in teen titans(the original not the crap we've got now that's utter cn trash) you don't see or hear much of that happening...

He's doing an Iron Fists 2. Ugh.

Rza should stick to just liking stuff he likes instead of trying recreate the stuff he likes with him in it.

It's kind of funny how they've sometimes teased Nightwing in the past. There was an episode of Justice League or Justice League Unlimited where he was shown once onscreen as a silhouette and the movie Return of the Joker teases his appearance with one line from Barbara Gordon to Terry McGuiness, "You should look up Nightwing sometime, boy has he got some stories"

There's a lot of him in Young Justice though. In fact, the whole Bat family was starting to get a lot of screen time on that show...then they cancelled it :(

Yeah it seems like the don't like serious Hero cartoons anymore on CN and sadly those are always my favorite(watched a ton of JL when they did the whole thing with the ones you mentioned, and the constant repeats never got old). If YJ is up for purchase digitally or on dvd I may have to pick it up since I was never able to really follow it when it aired...

I am kind of convinced that I saw all the good movies in film history. It takes me a good 15-20min to search through IMDB just to get to an OK movie.

There are movies that are highly rated but I don't want to watch them because they are supposed to be "artistic" and open for "interpretation" but I hate that kind of thing like Clockwork Orange and Space Odyssey. That scene in the end is just confusing.

There are other set of movies that I don't know why they are even highly rated like Clerks and The Big Lebowski. Maybe I don't get it.

This happens to me but with games!
When I played Zelda 64 like 12 years later I didn't understand why this game got perfect score and named one of the best games of all time. Looked like your average 3D game.

That's a bold statement. I have seen a lot of great movies, but I'm always digging around for hidden treasures and stuff I might have overlooked. Maybe making up your mind based entirely on the merits of IMDB ratings isn't the best way to go about it. There are some great movies that don't ever hit the top 100.

Wow. You are full of...something.

Because, IMDB is the best place to find "good" movies. I'm actually going to use an emoticon on purpose:
