Yeah I just finished the new lupin show, and I really enjoyed it. It's stylish, and I really enjoy the music. I just finished watching Macross Plus, The New Cutey Honey(lol), Hibane Renmei, and the original captain harlock show.

Started FMA Brotherhood yesterday after getting countless recommendations from friends. I'm liking it a lot so far, and I'm looking forward to getting past the point that I had previously reached in the original series.

Been slowly sinking deeper into the whole anime thing since rediscovering Toonami. Anyone been catching Space Dandy? Pretty funny stuff so far.
Also, I've been trying to watch Bleach, but it's really annoying. Toonami is showing the final hundred episodes and I've been trying to watch the beginning online. I don't think I'll make it far. The show has a bad habit it seems of having something happening and then immediately explaining it and that pattern goes on and on. It also doesn't help that it dumps all kinds of weird terms on the audience and then has to stop to explain all those too. Also, also, it has SO MANY characters. Starting out it already has plenty, but in the episodes they're showing late at night, there's like a billion. Who are all these people and their freaky character designs? So yeah, I doubt I'll make it very far.

Yeah, I'm absolutely hooked on One Piece now. Think I got my younger brother into it as well. He doesn't watch anime aside from maybe Pokemon but he's been hanging around with me a lot lately and we'll watch the show for quite a while.
A little over 200 episodes in and I've also watched the first 5 movies. The whole thing is just so damn FUN. Love how fleshed out the world is and just experiencing the character's adventure together. I also think I'm a sucker for pirate themed things.
Also recently found out about Space Dandy and how I can watch the episodes on demand on my cable box. Watched the first two episodes yesterday. Seems like a goofball comedy sort of thing. It's been entertaining so far but still not entirely sold on it.

The first arc for Bleach was fairly entertaining once it got going. I eventually stopped bothering to keep up with it though.ded srs wrote: Also, I've been trying to watch Bleach, but it's really annoying. As with most shows like it, if you like it in general, finding the manga is likely the better route. Takes a lot less time to read than watch, and you don't spend time on (usually crappy) filler arcs.

The third and fourth episodes are even better.CavZee wrote:Yeah, I'm absolutely hooked on One Piece now. Think I got my younger brother into it as well. He doesn't watch anime aside from maybe Pokemon but he's been hanging around with me a lot lately and we'll watch the show for quite a while.

Re: What Anime are you Currently Watching?/Anime Recommendat
I recently started Attack on Titan and finished the 10th episode and I am really really enjoying the series.
I have been disillusioned with anime, as I find the majority of stuff I have seen has been filler, fanservice or just not up my alley. This has been the first one in about 5 years that has drawn me in (the last be Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood). The idea is unique and interesting, there has been little filler and it has been doing a good job of building up characters and creating mystery and intrigue that encourages you to watch more.
I have a hard time prying myself away from it to do other things and have been trying to pace myself. We will see how long that lasts.
