I found the Cyber-Demon tougher than the last boss. Fun though. I'll also echo what people have been saying about the campaign, really great stuff.

Whatever boss is at the end of the Necropolis was the hardest for me so far (but I've still got two or three levels left).Sload Soap wrote:I found the Cyber-Demon tougher than the last boss. Fun though. I'll also echo what people have been saying about the campaign, really great stuff.

DOOM is nuts that's for sure. Not sure why but I have trouble with those big lumbering yet fast moving dump trucks on feet. They take a lot of machine gun or shotgun shells and they love to use those ground pounding shockwaves. Also just got introduced to the summoner the other night, very annoying how they teleport so much, hard to get a lock on them.

My suggestion is saving your chainsaw fuel for those guys. It takes 4 or 5 units of fuel, but since it's an instant kill, you just have to get close enough the one time (not to mention the ammo that erupts from its bisected carcass).Tanooki wrote:Also just got introduced to the summoner the other night, very annoying how they teleport so much, hard to get a lock on them.

The Hell Knights are pretty brutal, they're really fast and hard hitting. Just wait until you meet their bigger brothers, the Barons.
I liked to chainsaw the summoners as well until I got the Gauss cannon.

I used the lock on rocket launcher for summoners. And it turns out 5 summoner kills with lock on is the mastery for it anyway.
